And I'd like to introduce my up and coming SH/BM Tamasi(means 'Night', lol my Guild Wars Necro is named this also) Surana.







She came to the tower at the age of 7, with a severe facial burn. She was discovered as a mage after a human "noble" tried to take liberties with her mother in their own home. As her mother was struck down, the fireplace took on a life of its own, spitting flames everywhere, and encircling the little elf girl. Unfortunately the power she called forth, she couldn't control, and when it was all over she was discovered in dirty tears sitting outside the smoldering ashes of her mothers shack. Her mother's and the human's remains lay as charred corpses amongst the ruins. The templars arrived that night to take her away.



Think Zevran can break through this ones shields?

I suspect she might relate quite a bit to a certain Antivan whose life also developed out of his own control... and who considers his mother's death his own fault.

I have one that I'm slowly creating for mine (avatar). But, I'm hoping to try my hand at making some (probably mediocre) art in that regard, so it would be a shame to spoil it. Was actually just writing out some banters between her, Alistair, Leliana, and Wynne regarding her past.

Hmmm, this is a Zevran love thread! I can't even begin to imagine what would happen if I posted Zevran screenshots in an Alistair love thread! you much Addai67, but there are some lines that shouldn't be crossed!

Zevran fanart gets welcomed and requested in the Alistair fan group. Latest round has him wearing a superhero suit since he comes to the rescue. I rarely see any Zevran bashing, to be honest.

Sadly, Alessar doesn't have much of one... I should fix that at some point.

My human mage, Devin, was an abandoned child being raised in a Chantry.  He was kind of on the small, slender side (still is, despite the in-game graphics! *shakes fist*) and got picked on a bit, until he had a wild, but thankfully not deadly, demonstration of telekinesis one day. The templars hauled his butt to the Tower post-haste, where he became fast friends with Jowan.

He grew into a bit of a libertine as he got older, stemming from his games of hitting on everybody to see the results. I'd be curious to see how this would play against Zevran, who had a very different kind of education in regards to sex and its uses. :/  I'd say for Devin, his games are a way to gain some control of his environment; I'm not sure if I think the same for Zevran, although I think it's possible to make him out that way... 

And of course, there's the whole gilded cage parallel, and yet another parallel that I haven't entirely committed to yet...

I get yelled at in Alistair love threads  I obviously am not a member of an Alistair fan group so I wouldn't know about that.  But I suppose if people got to mocking Zevran in a teasing way wouldn't mind if I went in and posted loving Zevran screen shots, I stand corrected!

Edit: I did, and I tried to be ninja about it, but that never works out for me

With either he or Xander having really weird looks on their faces!  I actually think the sex scene is a bit hotter with a guy for some reason.

Edit: Actually, in my current playthrough, I had a weird experience with Alistair.  I'm romancing both him and Zevran on my city elf, and just killed Conner after punching Isolde in the face (I had to release Jowan -- I've never done that before).  Anyway, of course Alistair yelled at my poor city elf.  But then, I guess he felt really bad about it, and gave her a rose.

This interests me more than usual as I'm working on the first of two "Chains" entries that detail Cadryn's time before/in the Circle....  And I share your rage at the shared body models, though I understand why they are as they are.

/hangs head in shame.  Confession time. I WAS an Alistair fangirl.  Really and truly was completely in love with Alistair my first playthrough.  I couldn't wait to play, get new dialog, whatever.  I was fascinated by Zevran, but in a friendship-type way.  When Ali dumped my city elf, I sat staring at my monitor for at least ten minutes; I even cried.

I'll also never forget how used I felt, as a city elf, when he dumped her because she wasn't good enough.  Or how cherished I felt, when I did the Zevran romance, which of course, since he was at 100 friendly, missed a LOT of the slow build.

Oh the humanity!
