I would never vote for him... He's from the Christain Democratic Appeal.Creature 1 wrote...
I'd vote for Harry Potter.
They are not very fond of abortion (nor am I but I think it is a good thing that it is possible) and they don't like gay people. Potter-boy refuses to go to the Gay Pride in Amsterdam, while every other (non-Christian) chairman is willing to go there and show support to the gay community and such. And there are a lot of other things I don't like about him, but this is not the thread for that.
I'm sorry if my post offends anyone, but I don't know how to say it in better words. o.o'
Edit: Talk to you later guys, time to eat and then I have to drive home (2 hour drive) x.x

Edit: On second thought, wow, this dialog is a mess. It's not that it would be so hard to fix, just very time consuming. I can't believe that they didn't put in contingencies for Alistair NOT becoming king.

still using the same party_events as the one i grabbed, or does the new fix affect that?
edit: ej -- i believe it, there are many things they did not flesh out fully. and many things that were quite ready for more depth but almost never used. some of the plot flags are set and only examined again once, others are set but don't appear to have function, or it's redundant -- i am holding out hope that it is foundational for future modules..... but... =/

Edit: Gah, I've run into a little snag. Would it be weird if Alistair asked if Morrigan wanted an heir to the throne even if he wasn't king? Probably. Hmmmm. I'll try to figure out how to make that part of the conversation make sense.
Second edit: before working on that, I suppose I should figure out if my fix works!

Hmmmmm, one of these days I'll look at cleaning up the entire endgame. Alistair IS horribly bugged, and I think it wouldn't be too awful finding the errors in scripts. My main problem with doing that is since I don't romance Alistair, even with testing I would likely not be motivated to check it, and since the Alistair fixes ARE already in place elsewhere, I'm not sure just fixing those few files would be worth it. Another alternative would be contacting Lady Olivia and asking her to make a few changes to Alistair's Dialog Patch, but since ZGDF is going to be so much better when Charsen is finished with it, I don't think that will work either. Plus, her patch is Alistair focused, not Zevran focused.
I wish there was a project for fixing ALL the endgame bugs, not just the ones for one particular character. You know, one that fixes Alistair and Zevran at the gates, hardened Leliana dumping an engaged HN, the screen glitch with Zevran marrying a HN, etc.
There is a mod that aims to do that, called "Engame Dialogue and Epilogue Slide Fixes". Maybe you could collaborate with its author, Saxony_Porcelain?
Back to Jowan - I agree with you, Sabriana. People say that he is whiney even though he's the one making bad choices all the time, but I think that the most important choices had already been made for him. He didn't choose to be a mage, didn't choose to live in a tower knowing that he'd eventually have to take a very difficult test in which failure equals death. I'm sure he'd be perfectly happy living somewhere peaceful and being a farmer. I believed him when he claimed he wouldn't use magic anymore once he was free. It's hearbreaking that you can't do anything for him. Sending him back to the tower is portrayed the best option, but is it really? Gregoir wanted Jowan's head even before he learnt about Redcliffe. Sometimes I think that killing him personally is the most merciful option. Actually I drew a fanart of him and my PC sharing last moments before the execution. Since some of you like Jowan, I hope it won't be a terrible faux-pas if I share it with you
I experimented with lighting and I know it's off, I think I'll use reference next time. I also continue practising drawing kisses, this time using Zev and Charsen's mod as an inspiration :innocent:
This? Effing awesome.

Edit: I just want included what is supposed to be included in the story!
Second edit: That picture is gorgeous! Needs more Zevran, though

It's good to see Jowan in art, despite him being whiny (relative of alistair?) he was one of the better npcs, i thought.

Well now, to be fair, Alistair wasn't ever really in any danger to be turned into dead-man-walking. Tranquility sucks lizard eggs.
Agreed. Oh, Jowan, you horrible traitor... you're still my mage's BFF anyway.

By the way, my MSc is in Applied Psychology. Just to add my 2 cents.
I also seem to be collecting wolves. I have two wolves at camp right now. Dayum. I guess I should've had Zevran unsummon them before going to camp.

I never really left. Sleep deprivation is awesome.... By the time I go out with friends tonight, I won't need booze.

I've been following this thread for some time now and thanks to Easter and a few free days, I can catch up reading the last 100 pages.
I have to say that all the people here and especially their dedicated work are really marvellous *bows deeply to everyone*
But I must also admit that in my first playthrough with my HNF I was romancing Alistair and marrying him. But still had Zevran at 100 friendly.
Then I found this thread, installed the english version and what shall I say. Now it is almost impossible for me not to romance Zevran.
I love his accent in the english version.
You could say that in this way, he taught me some english. Of course he could teach me anything he wanted *snicker*

Hello CZ. Sorry for your PC's misadventure.
he snictched on Jowan to irving despite hating the tower lol Jowans reaction to my "betrayal" was hilarious I mean his angry voice is beyond wimpy sounding
iv heard more flaming queens sound scarier than him when pissed off
and Jowan deserved it at all since he had a habit of setting my guy on fire until I realised he had a tactic for his flamethrower spell...
