Thanks! There are quite a lot fanarts with Jowan and deviantart. I should know, I have each and every one of them saved on my hard drive. *cough*fangirl*cough*

The endgame is just one big mess. Once I had Loghain so traumatized after sleeping with Morrigan that he forgot all about it and asked my (female) PC how come we were still alive. I had some very weird conversation options with Morrigan as well (before the final battle), which makes me think  that the game assumed my PC was male

On another note: After several hours, I'm done with cooking for Easter! Easter is Serious Business.

I'm about to say the heck with it. There is a lot more work involved than at the first appearance. I'll start begging for B2Bs for people who have already done this, and credit them for fixing it. Just UGH.

I don't know whether it had been mentioned before, but Zevran reminds me of someone who is wearing different masks, even to himself.

There is Zevran the Crow, there is Zevran the experienced Lover, ...

But when he realizes that he might have feelings for the warden, this masks begin to crumble. Perhaps he senses, that he wears a mask even to himself.

And it is a terrible feeling, if you realize, that you don't know who you really are and what you want.

IMO this is the moment when he begins to struggle.

Oh, when I read this it seems really weird.

Zevran is attractive because he's a bad boy. But as you talk to him, you start to get to see that there is something more lurking underneath.

And as far as his crass remarks, they are typically said with the right inflection that implies that he doesn't expect you to take the comments seriously. (Like: "Can I ask you a question?" "Ok, but I get to stare at you luridly while you do."[I forget the exact words]). He says them hoping to amuse you, nothing more.

Zevran is intriguing to my PCs because of his words upon their first meeting. She is very startled by his "I thought I wake up dead..." remark, and she thinks the whole ambush set-up is weird and sloppy for a trained assassin. When he reveals he is a slave, she is willing to give him a shot at freedom.

Bad boys, well, she meets plenty, and is not in the least bit attracted to them.
However, he does try to lighten up situations.

Grinsekatze, that's why I have all my games installed in English, so my language skill won't rust. I also make it a point to watch all my movies in English.

As for Zevran squee... bring it on.

All I posted about Zevran and my PCs is of course, only the way I play it. Personally. I love reading about how other gamers see it. Ohh, that wily elf. So many ways to do him. <--- pun definitely intended.

The thing is, I don't even think of Zevran as a "bad boy," per se, though he IS an assassin and seducer. There's so much more to him. He's smart, he's savvy, he's devoted, he's protective, he's funny. That is what is so attractive about him. The fact that he's deadly doesn't hurt, but it's only one part of his personality.

Edit: CZ, that IS your personal bias!  I find it far sexier when it's a femdwarf, but that's my bias

That guys instruction are sodding awful, I did the same thing. What he doesn't tell you is you need to install the .dazip before you move the files (so the dazip can add the folders you need ).

(seems he updated his intructions...git <_<)

1) Install the included .dazip with whatever you use to
install dazip files.[/b]
2) Find the equivalent of your
Program Files\\\\Dragon Age\\\\packages\\\\core_ep1\\\\data directory.
3)
Copy all of the .erf files found there.
4) Find the
Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\AddIns\\\\gxa_res_to_core\\\\core\\\\data
directory.
5) Paste the copied .erfs into that
folder.
6) Find the equivalent of your Program
Files\\\\Dragon Age\\\\packages\\\\core_ep1 directory.
7)
Copy the audio and textures folders.
8)
Paste the copied folders into the Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon
Age\\\\AddIns\\\\gxa_res_to_core\\\\core directory.
9)
Activate the 'Awakening in the OC' Addon via the Downloadable Contents
menu in-game.

I hope thats clear now, if not just say.

Well Grinsekatze that certainly makes me wonder. We're not scary, are we? We just have to go into defense mode (a lot), because Zevran is the most maligned character ever. Of course, that would only be by those who never bother to get to know him.

May I also tell you about our group? It's a nice group with lots of good stuff in it.

I will hang my head in shame with you.  My first play through(as female Dalish rogue) it was all about Alistair, and I was soooo in love.  Then he dumped me after Landsmeet, there was shock, cussing, throwing of things, and tears.  I even quit playing for a day or two and sulked.

And then I played my next, and romanced Zevran, and just friended Alistair and it all felt so right. My third I tried a female human noble and was going to go for the Queen of Ferelden, but the  whole Alistair romance just felt flat and I had a realization *I'm a Zevfangirl* squeee.  Need.more.Zev.now.  And all subsequent playthroughs are for Zev and Alistair and I will just be BFFs.  And the world is right again.
