Yeah, the First Offer should be after Taliesen... Though Ejoslin is, I believe, the resident expert on the Zev romance, she'll be able to help a lot more.

Wow, that IS glitched horribly.  I wonder how that happened?  That is really weird.  Yeh, I'd say your game is pretty messed up.  He should offer it the first time just after Taliesen, before thanking you.  The he offers it the second time after he is refusing to go to the tent.  What happens when you ask him to the tent?

Edit: And Surreal knows as much as I do, for true.  I'm just more obnoxious about it!

That is very VERY strange. Ugh. Yeh, I'd say your game is glitched. I have no clue why you'd be getting the "you call." What mods do you have installed?

Edit: But now I'm REALLY confused.  The second offer of the earring is attached to the conversation he has after refusing to go to the tent.

Only the Respec mod & latest Dialogue Tweaks. I'm running DA:O only with patch 1.02a, after having to reinstall following issues with the 1.03 patch. 

I've only got the Landsmeet quests & RtO to do before the Final Battle so I may just play through (after adding your Gates Fix mod) to see what happens. 

Or I may try to find the Dalish Mage mod I've heard about and start over with that origin. This glitched game is the first time I've played a Dalish and I love the role-playing aspect of hooking up with Zevran, who is half-Dalish (although it does concern me a little that we don't know how old the Warden is so its possible that the Dalish Warden's missing mother is also Zevran's mother. Ewww... incest!)

It's assumed that there are Dalish clans in/near Antiva, so his mother came from one of those clans. The DE's clan is in the Brecellian Forest area, so I'm not too worried about the DE's mother being Zev's.

Oh, THAT'S not possible. The Dalish's mom was in love with the Keeper of another Clan. Besides, Zevran is from Antiva and the Dalish is from Ferelden. Don't worry. Nothing gross there.



Worst case scenario is you get the "in a romance" dialog from Zevran if you use either version 1.4 or 1.5 of my mod (it may work with the earlier ones as well but I can't promise). It's nice, but nothing like his "in love" dialog.

Well, as long as your Warden isn't late twenties to thirties, that isn't a problem. (Plus what ejoslin said...)

Still, try playing through to the end and see what happens. That really sucks that it's so screwy, but hopefully it'll all be ok in the end.

PC is fixed! The only problem that with the new graphics card, everything is "stretched." So my characters look kind of short and squat, and my quickbar is a lot smaller. Not sure yet how to fix that.



Anyway, what is the mod situation? I know people have been working like mad. Are there any female kisses at the gates to be had?

Addai67, change your graphics options to a resolution that fits your monitor. Sounds like you have a wide screen monitor now.

The kisses are not in yet. I do have a new version up of my mod that cleans up Alistair's dialog quite a bit, BUT he still refers to himself as king even when he's not. HOWEVER, he now gives appropriate responses when the political marriage is at warm or friendly (yes, that was wrong), there's no longer the dialog choice, "I know we're not friends" unless he's at neutral or hostile, the "still in love" flag actually works now and he gets those dialogs, etc etc. I'm working on the king thing, but THAT will be a major project.

Edit: I also made a change to the funeral.  If you have either Leliana or Zevran "in love," even if Alistair has the "still in love" flag, he'll give the buddy ending so you get the closeup of Lel's or Zev's face.  However, if there was no other love interest and Alistair is "still in love" you get his "still in love" dialog.
