What's the (Romantic) Appeal of Zevran?

All right, I'm sad. Spent half an hour making my dwarf in the CC, only to find out at the end I'd accidentally specced her as a Warrior instead of Rogue. >.> Can my cheering up include more Zevran fanart? :innocent:
CZ, how was work today?

Oh god I dispair why does trash like that do so well? I mean, I was no saint when I was a teenager... I had my fill of hideous "teen" fic... I seemed to remember I read a lot of Tamora Pierce and sighing over the men there, but at least the heroines were kick ass.
*feels old now*
THANK YOU! Apparently girls nowadays need a man to define themselves by. I don't know where this ownership worship came from, but its fecking nasty.
Edit: Nonvita you are the first on page 590, 10 pages from 600, what are you gonna do?

I actually asked my best friend from high school if she thought we'd have fallen for it, just to be sure. She said flat out "no." This is from girls who would rate our favorite movie characters to find out which one we were most in love with... Even we wouldn't have been that stupid.
Edit: Stupid formatting, why can't I fix you? <_<

@MG: How much programming experience do you have? If you much at all, C++ is a cake walk. A syntax list will cover you. My favorite reference book is from when I was an undergrad and it's now out of print, but I'll ask my hubby for one (he teaches it).
Absolutely none, I tend to pick things up quickly though, so I will hunt round for a syntax list anyway. Hopefully whatever your hubby recomends I can get in the UK, and thank you for asking.

bad weather caused me to work less hours than I would have but it was fine other than the creepy 46 year old married guy asking me if I would like to come to his camper later that night to play some wii bowling

It's gotten to the point if I see anything in fandom -fanfic, art, whatever- and I see F!Cousland/Alistair anyway in the description I scroll on by on the internets. My male Cousland shacked up with Zevran... Need to finish him so he can marry Anora, as she's an interesting lady too.
Hmmm, Alistair, you CAN end up married, IF you're a human noble. Even if he doesn't like you much (or at all).
Of course, Zevran proposes. So in my mind, that gives him one up on Alistair!

Lol! Well, still sounds good. More fun that sitting around/doing nothing while other people play paintball for 6 hours...
But why turn down some Wii bowling? Knocking balls into pins is totally harmless, G-rated, platonic, family-friendly fun!

Tell Mr. Creepy-46-yr-old-married-guy that you'll take up his offer only if you can bring your knife collection with you. So you can show him how sharp they are.Cuddlezarro wrote...

I initially typed something about sharing your toys with the rest of us but realized that it could (and would in this group) be horribly twisted.

I'm not opposed to twisted convos. However, I have a fever, have had cold medicine, and have had a glass of wine; which induces a level of intoxication roughly equivalent to what the average person would experience after guzzling half a vineyard worth of wine. (Read: the edit button in my brain is sunning itself in Tahiti) I could rather quickly become a public menace.

@MG: My husband is asleep already, but I will ask him in the morning.
@Ejoslin: Does your newest version of the Zev dialogues include Charsen's awesome kisses?
No they do not. As far as I know, he's still working on them. When the kisses are added, trust me, I will be posting all about it every other post most likely! But the way you can tell is when the kisses are added, it will be Zevran Dialog Fix 2.0.
My changes now have more to do with Alistair's dialog. There are a lot of problems with Alistair's dialog end game, and some of it interferes with Zevran play throughs. So I've been cleaning up the scripts for Alistair (I'm done with that for now) and putting in proper conditions in the dlg files as well. I'm not doing anything really in depth there as other mods take care of that, but I figured some people would probably want a fairly clean endgame with Alistair without all the lore changes that other endgame mods put in. Besides, Alistair's been giving the wrong dialog to his political fiance long enough!
I am not making changes to the basic story, however. For instance, I have decided not to put in an option to allow a femwarden whom Alistair is either in love with or still in love with to overrule Alistair and do the US instead of him. I am just sticking with what is actually in the game and correcting bugs.
I did make one exception, though. If Alistair is flagged "Still in Love" but either Zevran or Leliana are in love, Alistair will give the "friend" ending to the funeral so the camera will focus on the lover's face there instead of Alistair's. I went back and forth on this, because obviously if Alistair is still in love, he would give that line, but shouldn't the person who actually is in love be given priority? I could be convinced to change that one back.
Edit: CZ, please quit distracting him, just for a little time? Pretty please?
