The little caress gesture is wonderful (I always figured they liked that sort of thing, too XD), both in how you managed to animate it, and in the emotion it brings across.  

Heh, I think it was Tellervo who talked about the kiss-avoidance? XD  I actually don't mind it, I imagined that they were saying some few words to each other instead.  Liplock or not, it's a really intense and passionate moment.  

Kudos to you and ejoslin for putting this scene to rights! <3

ETA: So what I mean is that it having that conversation when Zevran reaches 71 makes sense and fits with his given reasons (if you believe them - and I can see it your way too, of course).   There would be no sense in having it if Zevran is below 71.  He also doesn't just give the reason that he's thinking about Alistair's feelings - that's how he starts to explain it, but as the conversation goes on, it ends up with him explaining that he won't cheat - he won't do something wrong like that.   He sometimes seems to be very clear about morality, despite being thought of as amoral, and I probably believe him partly because I want to.  

They do all seem to react qutie differently, don't the?  Morrigan is openly jealous, and feels bad about it.  Alistair seems to be genuinely shocked and offended by the idea of sharing.   Leliana - I didn't pay much attention.

Not quite. I would prefer if all LI react somehow when the Warden romances the others. Adore 71+ is too late for some.  
And I would prefer him not to say that if it's not true, but I can handle that because sometimes I have the superpower read-between-the-lines, but only sometimes
Those are my complaints.

Personally I found his flirtation with everyone to be cute. In my actual life, I find myself attracted to people who aren't exactly... physically loyal. I actually prefer it that way, and Zevran seems like a pretty loose guy. And of course, his ACCENT. His sexy accent. Oh god.

I don't know if I'd like it even more with a mouth to mouth kiss in there, but I do love it the way it is.  They look into each other's eyes, and it's maybe even more romantic because there have been kisses before but nothing like this.  
I meant to mention the thumb movement as well - I love that. 
I imagine the slow, later part of the scene is particularly wonderful if the warden is going for the ultimate sacrifice.  Zevran looks like he knows it might be the last kiss - he's overcome with emotion and trying to steel himself to prepare for the final battle. 
Can you imagine if this was in the game, and there for people on their first playthrough?   I'd have been bowled over.

I have to clarify a few things regarding the romances -

-Does everybody know about the relationship once the romance is turned on? From banter and dialogues I assume yes.

-Is the relationship regarded mutual once the romance is turned on? I assume it's up to roleplay a decidedly ambiguous.

-What unusual happens at 71+ that not sexually jealous people suddenly become possessive, or why is the other romance considered secret since then? Shouldn't this be associated with love state, or appear much earlyer? I assume it should trigger when the LI feels they are commited to the warden. 71adore is imho too late for Alistair and too early for Zevran.

Yes.  It's quite astoundingly sexy.  Very distracting. Although it's not so sexy on the other Antivans, come to think of it, just him.   There's a kind of breathiness and intimacy about his voice that's something special.

I think that Zev was *in character* in RtO, albeit his 'just-recruited-not-in-love-nor-friend-with-the-Warden' character. That is the problem with Origins DLCs, that they can take place anywhere in the game. If this Awakening DLC takes place after the campaign - as the lack of epilogue saves seem to suggest - I've no doubt that David Gaider will write Zevran perfectly

Assuming that DG is actually writing the DLC. They tend to leave the DLCs up to other writers, as was the case in RTO.

Somehow I missed it's going to be Awakenings DLC. Wow, that's odd! After all, it does narrow down the potential audience quite considerably and yet they're willing to pay VA for it. Now I'm even more curious.

And I think that's why they made it Awakening DLC--they want to entice people into buying Awakening, and a good way to do that is through DLCs with the Origins romances.
