OOOOOOH! I figured out how to get Alistair to no longer refer to himself as king in the DR conversation! Time to polish it up, but I think my part of the mod is just about complete!

Edit: But I have to leave in the comments about the bastard heir.  Oh well, it's not too out of line.

I JUST finished goddamn redcliffe and went to recruit Zevran, got pwned by him and his damn assassins, and then when was my last save?



Right before the assault on redcliffe. I suppose that's my fault, but really? Really bioware? You couldn't have added an autosave after the battle, after I worked so hard to save everybody so I could get Lloyd's stupid ring?



...I am so going to save my game after I defeat all of them and before I talk to Zevran for the "wake him up? or kill him now?" option just so I can kill him once. Just once before I reload and welcome him aboard. This was my nightmare mode run. AKJDNSJKDN

I just... I almost wish that if they were going to send me that far back, that they would send me before I gathered the lamp oil to set the zombies on fire, because Perth and his Knights kept setting themselves on fire rater than the zombies (thank god Morrigan can heal them...)

I always save in the middle of the battle when there's a chance. But really? They run into the flames? That's never happened for me...
But I hope you'll have better luck this time.

Hmmmm, now the question is, who gives the speech at the gates if Alistair isn't king. I'm keeping Alistair doing it because I like his voice better! Unless it's too out of line.

Edit: I think this is the only end game fixing mod that doesn't change the game! YAY!

Second edit: Oh ugh, cleaning up the sacrifice ending is FAR more problematic.  *sigh*  *grin*  They really didn't want this to be easy!

I got ya beat, I did that in the deep roads. My first playthrough on xbox, got killed by the broodmother and had to start over at the entrance to the deep roads in Orzammar. I was...*ahem* understandably pissed.

Haha! Actually, yeah, they're pretty bad about that--most especially my party members! They just get so excited that I have to command them to hold position until the enemies are closer.  Zevran, as a matter a fact, was the worst on my first playthrough--he died within about 10 seconds of the battle because I didn't realize he was sparring a zombie inside of the fire. Ironic, considering what he says beforehand about flaming undead...

Party members are bad, yeah. The way to avoid that is by selecting everyone--that way they don't go running off on their own. Still a hassle, though. That whole battle is just... meh.

And lol about Zevran! You should listen to your own advice more often, silly man. =P
