Sannox, I find LJ the easiest, personally, but if you don't have one, a single fic may not be the most motivating reason to create one. ;D A good number of people use the blog feature here, too, or there's always fanfiction.net, but you have a 2-day cooling period before you can post there, to avoid spam, I think.

Seems like most serial fanfic writers post in at least two places, anyway. ;D

Sannox, I'd suggest putting it on fanfiction.net, since that's where most people upload their fanfics and it's easy to link on forums.

Mine isn't a proper story, unlike the ones by you talented people here, just something silly that came into my head. Thank you all - I'll have a look at all the places you mentioned. Because I haven't spent enough time on Zevran-related activities today.

Ok so it's not romantic appeal for me since I'm a guy and not gay or bisexual but I recently read this piece of fanfic. Its a really good portrayal of old Zev in my oppinion. May open a few eyes. Beware Spoilers too. It's on fanfiction.net and its called Dragon Age: The Hunt.

I've read some of it, and the writing is good. Other than that, I agree with Minaleth. I'm tired of fanfic where Zevran is the afterthought/second fiddle. I especially hate fanfic that has Alistair dumping the PC in public, the PC hooks up with Zevran. Poor Zevran falls in love. Anora dies/commits treason/whatever, and the PC happily returns to Alistair's waiting arms. As if by miracle, he'll now stay with her, even though she is still non-human/mage/both



Thanks Inzhuna, I thought I was missing something there. Usually DLC is on YouTube almost right away. Heck, Awakening was up there three days after its release.

there's been some dire **** I've read on ff.net. One made me rage so much I contacted the author in a pique of "lolwat?" S/he had their warden roofie'd by Zevran, as apparently Zevran was jealous of her speshul relationship of Alistair.

I agree with everyone who hates fanfic that treats Zevran OOC in any way. I also hate fanfic that makes him the 2nd choice, the 2nd fiddle, and /or a stop-gap.

I don't read a whole lot of fic (despite writing it; terrible, I know) for those sorts of reasons, but I have to say, I think everything I've read by folks who hang out here has been really good. :3  Not just in how they treat Zevran (yeesh!), but, you know, everything beyond that.

Soooo I should go read soignee's stuff, following that rule of thumb. XD

Iv read some dire **** on FF.net as well including part of a fanfic where Bryce Cousland shags Arl Howe infront of the PC couslands bedroom door

as well as other atrocities which iv reviewed with my friend in various lets read threads we have done

oh and I saw an incredibly long Sarevok X PC incest fic at the BG2 section where he gets her preggers

A roofie (or rufie?) is a particular drug... guys will slip one into a girl's drink more or less for the purposes of date rape.   wikipedia may help fill that in a bit.

I have to admit on my very first playthrough, Zevran WAS my 2nd choice - Alistair broke up with my City Elf, and when I clicked on Zev, he offered the earring, and my PC thought 'Take that, Alistair!!!' However, after I've learned how much deeper and more commited Zevran's romance is, I actually reloaded to my earliest save, dumped Alistair myself, and was with Zevran since ;D

And God do I hate all the OOC fanfics!!

I did write nicely, there was no pitchforks and effigies burnt or anything. At the time there was a big ol' ZEVRAN IS A BIG RAPIST thread here that Gaider put his 2cs into, so I linked her some of his quotes on the subject.

I'm rabid fangirl, yes. But not quite frothing yet.

Hmm, you are now making me think about fanfiction in general... I mean, it's all pretend happy funtiems for the people who do it, so I suppose I can't say anything, and just scroll on by on the interbutts...

But thats what Zev is. What I'm getting alot of in this post is that it's ok to be lewd, lecherous, and thoroughly selfish if you have pointy ears or are generally good looking. Does Zev actually have any redeeming qualities? His oath of loyalty aint worth the paper it's written on, and he flirts just as shamelessly with Liliana and Alistair as the main PC. He's the guy that drives men and women into the arms of those they are actually meant to be with.
