LOL, true enough.  I imagine there are plenty of Wardens (like Missa Brosca! XD) who could handle Antiva.  But plenty of others who miiiight... be a liability.   (Hmmm, I think Alessar is somewhere in the middle of that spectrum... XD  Denerim can be an icky place...)

At least Alessar should know how to act around humans and how to manage in a big city.

The epilogues do not read the same. Pulling out the handy dandy toolset:



Grey wardens: As for <FirstName/>'s companions, they went their separate ways. Zevran returned with <FirstName/> to the Grey Wardens, helping to recruit and train new members even though he never officially joined the order.



Staying in Denerim: As for <FirstName/>'s companions, they went their separate ways. Zevran however, elected to remain at the side of his love--at least for a time.



Player travels (female): As for <FirstName/>'s companions, they went their separate ways. When <FirstName/> finally left Denerim to continue her travels, Zevran went with her, electing to remain with the woman he loved. They continued their adventures together--at least for a time.



Hmmmm, I see the problem of why a male warden gets the female card. I should probably fix that. But I wouldn't be able to test it. Would someone with a male character be willing to test that if it still needs changing? If it does, I'll fix it.

That's exactly how she would feel. Scared, but willing to do it. For Zevran.

X3  I don't know if I'd describe Alessar as scared at that point, but he'd definitely be wary.
Besides, after all of Zevran's good stories, he might want to see Antiva for himself...

True enough; his concerns would be more specifically with the Crows.

I must admit, I took the YES I WILL REMAIN A GREY WARDEN KING ALISTAIR LOLOLOL option, even though if felt wildly out of character, so Zevran would stay.

I'm such a sap! I always thought it was because the Crows cannot touch the Order, so Zevran stays... Anythign else and there's too much danger of a crow swoop, so to speak. It's why I'm loving Awakenings epilogues and the letter, as it gives more leeway for fitting the epilogue I want.

You have to ask?  I'm pretty sure they fixed it, but if you hear otherwise, I'll happily test for you.

I think Artemis would be able to handle herself in Antiva. She's a bit of a b*tch, and by the end of the game will be able to shoot the wings off a fly with that bow of hers. She's Dalish, and got a chip on her shoulder.

Jaenelle, my elf mage, might be able to work in Antiva. Granted, she's a Healer first and foremost, but she can bow shyte up when need be...

Oh, I see. I've never had an elf/Zevran hook-up. I can certainly see that now. Yes, the elves would have a great way to integrate Awakenings and the separation when it comes to the epilogue card.

Jenovan, I'm not a fanfic.... er, fan, and I don't usually like m/m f/f stories. No, not because of any kind of homophobia, but because I *really, really like* the f/m .... ah... hot stuff. The others just don't do much for me

I haven't gotten around to Tellervo's and Sresla's stuff yet, but I will. I know Tellervo has his stuff on LJ. He even had a link posted to the site. Pages and pages ago... *sigh*

 Ok, I THINK I fixed the slideshow with the male character getting the female card if in love with Zevran and choosing to travel.  Can anyone with a male character at the end either test it or send me a copy of their save at the arch demon battle?  I can't believe this hasn't been fixed already, though.  But... if it hasn't, and if this works, I'll put it up at DA nexus!  Linky to my project.

Edit: I have no way of checking whether the bug is fixed or not, unfortunately.  It does not look like it is, but I don't have a male character there.

Everyone has a crush on Alessar.  If they weren't mutually exclusive, I think Cadryn would have a crush on Alessar, in that angry too much in common kind of way.  And there's a link in my signature if you're actually interested in reading it, but I must warn you... some spiciness, if that's not your thing.

I actually can't test anything immediately... on my EEE!, not my PC, and DA would give the EEE! an aneurysm.  I think it has been fixed, but I'm not certain... I'll play through without the fix to check when I get back to my PC.

No, I looked for that, and there are definitely no other alternatives.  Hmmmm, actually I'll check for something else as well.  I hate messing with that particular file since it not only messes with DT (not a big deal) but also with Charsen's ZevRing mod.

Edit: I can see one thing to do, though I'm not sure it's better or worse.  That is, always have the variant where Zevran and the warden hasn't been to the tent.

Zevran: Our flirtation has been fun, but if what you and Leliana have is real perhaps it would be best if we desisted. Complication avoided, everyone is happy.

That probably is better.

Oh, excellent.  Thank you so much.  It definitely has not been fixed in the .dlg file, but maybe they fixed it at a lower level (though I don't see how, truthfully).  Or maybe people just stopped complaining about it, which is what I'm considering most likely.

I'll have a look with my male character to see if the bug is still there.   I'll have to fight the archdemon again, won't I?  So I may be some time!

Sannox, if you have a save at the arch demon fight, you can send that to me. OR if you use the console, the command "runscript killallhostiles" (without the quotes) immediately ends the battle.

Edit: And I really REALLY appreciate this.  If its not fixed, it's inexcusable, because it is SO easy.

I think it depends on the characters whether I can enjoy fanfic or not, Tellervo. Alessar..., well, what can I say. He's simply marvelous.

But I do like your Cadryn. He's the red-head, right? I also like Missa, so I'm guessing it definitely has to do with me liking the character. The love, as in the emotion, I make no differences there, but the 'spicy' has me a bit bored, simply because I'm so very partial to f/m 'spiciness', lol.

I have a lot of trouble writing PWP, so anything actually included in "Chains" or "Nations and Ages" is guaranteed to be important to the relationship....  I have written a bit of PWP for the kink meme, and failed at anon, so it's floating around, but its an entirely seperate thing from "Chains".

Yes, Cadryn is the read-head, because there's no good auburn tint in any mod I've found.

*ETA* oh thanks for adding me! I fail so hard at tachnologeeeee. ejosin and charsen had to write instructions in crayon for me to work out how to access the conversations in the toolset >.>. Even photoshop is too hard for me.
