evolved over the years. Alley was just Alley originally, at least that
incarnation. Her first version was Ihiri. Tannusen -- Alley's younger
half-brother in almost every iteration -- was originally just Tannu,
based off tunnel...

Tannu's wife, Roande, based off road.
Daughter Llayne, based off lane.

Are you discussing the procurement of illegal goods?  For shame!  I had thought the lot of you above such reprehensible behavior!

30 seconds is fine for the kiss (it's far less than that) but the watermark could be a problem! That and the fact that I'm not starting a youtube account to post it!

If you send it to me, I'll post.  But FRAPS takes .AVI, you'll have to convert it with another program.  I've yet to find a good one.  And when I do, I'll retake that video.  Because my graphics are way better than that damn thing lets on.

Hmmmm, even more of an issue.  What do you use?

I can't recall off the top of my head.  I'll have to tell you when I get home.

Sannox uses Wegame.  I didn't like the way it distorted stuff.

The water mark isn't too bad, just a small url up at the top, haha. So if 30 seconds is fine, then you're probably good to go.

I'm a Morri fan and have been since I first saw her, thought I will amit I will defend most companions (not Alister or leliana, will explain later) to hilt from people who refuse to understand them and either try to dilute them to one dimentional characters to support their dislike or simply focus on the negetive.

So why won't I defend Alister (at all) or Leliana (as much)?

Alister - There are many reasons. First and foremost,  he doesnt want to lead (which is fair enough) but he will throw a tantrum if The Warden des something he doesn't agree with, killing Conner is the best example of this, simply because its what you should  do (reguardless of right or wrong). The way he acts after Ostagar, now this would be understandable but for the fact he PC has just as much if not more but is just expected to get on with it. I don't like the Alister romance, simply because it gets a "happily ever after" style ending for the HN and a uncermonious public dumping for everyone else.

Leliana - Leliana is a difficult one for me because I like her (and her romance) what I don't like is the way she outright lies to you and hides who she is, even from herself, I also the the whole religiuos thing. The way I rationalise her beheviour is that she is so use to wearing a mask and has worn so many she is simply confused to which is her.

I hope my rambling makes some kind of sense...

@Aroihkin - Just finished reading your fanfic its very good so far, the warden is very different then usual which really makes the story stand out. The whole concept of your warden is excellent from the way she isn't the best looking (not sure how to put it) women to what happened to her hands. Looking forward to more chapters.

Yeh, Alistair has some pretty bad moments. A lot of issues with him when romancing him can be solved by not making him king, however. I think he does best as king, though, in a political marriage, either with Anora or with a HNF who doesn't romance him.

The Connor thing bugs me most of all because, well, he's the one who suggests it. My first play through, that is exactly what I did. I had both Bann Teagan and Alistair saying, "DO EEEET!" And I was like, well, ok, this is your family, he is possessed blah blah blah.

Your rambling makes a lot of sense, and I do agree with you on a lot of it.

Makes total sense to me! I keep trying to give Leliana a chance, even as a buddy, but there's just too much about her that bothers me, I think. Between the ninja-romances, the super-girly-squee-pink-ribbons stuff, and the religious stuff... just not feeling it, I guess.

Plus there's something about the way they did her face that creeps me out a bit. Their proportions on chicks in general are nothing to write home about, though Morrigan can mostly get away with her tiny, wide-apart eyes. Leliana just always looks stoned, to me.

I should probably slap a mod on her, but it's not just her weird head that gets me, so I don't know that it's worth it, haha.

(And I wish there was a mod that let us fix the body proportions. What the eff with the MAN SHOULDERS all the gals have? I realize that in living with professional artists who rant about anatomy, I'm going to notice these things more, but MAAAAN SHOOOOULDERS.)

Sorry, rants are contagious it seems! I'm... gonna stop spamming for a bit.

Anyway, lots going on in the thread today while I was in class. Those screen shots of the HF kiss look HOT... too bad I never play a HNF. The height difference with Zev just bugs me too much.

Alistair's funny, but the Connor incident totally ruined my bro-mance with him. I was all... YEAH, WE'RE BUDDIES, AND WE'RE WARDENS, AND WE'RE STOMPING AROUND DOING WARDEN STUFF AND TRALALALA...

Not a romance because I was a dude on my first play through, but I was at the time eyeing the mod.

And then... I killed Isolde.

LOL WHOOPS?

EDIT: It was my first play, and I didn't know about asking the mages for help yet. I don't remember him mentioning anything about it, of course, because an almost-Templar would never think of that, right?

AND THEN ALISTAIR GREW THIRTY FEET TALL AND SHOT LAZORS FROM HIS EYES.

But, you know, only after I killed the idiot woman in order to save her son.

The sparkle-factor of Alistair never returned.

k guys, sorry for the delay. Found a small bug that needed to be ironed out. It was hilarious tho. i choked on my drink when i saw it...
(fade to black ended too soon and all of a sudden the camera zoomed to zevran's face and he had crazy jittery eyes)... Anyway that should be fixed now.

For mpeg-4 I don't unfortunely. alothugh I'm just about to test two program after a quick google search so I will get back to you if they are any good.

MG: exactly!    Honestly, they are all great characters.  I happen to like some of them better than others in an RP sense, but they are all well written.  I love Zev, and I tend to go for that romance because I like how it plays out the best, but he and Shale battle for first place in my overall favorites list.  She makes me snicker and really does care in her peculiarly warped way.  And then there is Morrigan...yeah, Claudia Black can stumble into my life any time she wants. :whistle:

@Aroihkin LOL... yeah, Al is hilariously pissed off if you do anything other than get the mages to help Connor. And it's annoying since he suggests you kill Connor in the first place (if he's with you, anyway). These days I take the FACE!PUNCH!Isolde route since I seem to keep playing impatient and slightly violent PCs. Hm.
