you want a party you should have seen charsens reactions to enchanted arms (a jrpg with an out of the closet gay character) he was not amused... neither was in infact I got into an argument with a friend over said character

yeah so I just updated Duster and I'm not sure about it, but let's just hand wave the fact I am STUBBORNLY STICKING TO LORE and killing a dragon/getting some crazy dead lady's ashes totes makes sense. Did I mention temple sex with Zevran? As it's there. And Sten being a ******. And Leliana being a sanctimonious ass easily distracted by shoes.

*grin* I learned how in a fit of nerd rage!  And I'm still not good at it, but I figure my bit of database work I did in the past at least serves a useful purpose!

I see what Charsen does and I'm just humbled.  I can't even figure out how to get the default kiss in there (the scene is so weird the way its set up), and he not only gets that, but makes something so much more.

Hmmmm, Charsen, I hope I don't make you uncomfortable with my squee over you!

You are still way ahead of me.  I just ventured in for the first time to change the appearance of two characters.  I loved my mage from an RP perspective, but he just didn't look right.  Now if I can just convince my stupid computer to listen when I tell it to take screenshots...

That's not the worst armor about it, trust me. My roommate's character was this little skinny guy, and he was a bonafide trap when he was in leather!

@Aroihkin I'm reading your fanfic, Immovable Object. It is excellent. I do not like most fanfic; I do like yours. It's very different from anything else I've read, far more believable, and very engaging.

Edit: Engaging is the wrong word, actually.  But it drew me in.

Second edit: @ sami jo -- I cannot do anything with graphics.  I can't tell you what makes something look good or bad; I just don't have an eye for it at all.  The stuff I'm doing is very easy, it's just a matter of figuring out what is causing bugs I know are there already.  It will either be in the dlg (if lucky) or in the scripts defining the conditions (technobabble which I'm not fluent in, so that sentence may not have made sense) which actually what is causing so many of the end game bugs. It's like figuring out a puzzle, but the scripting language is very straight forward so it wasn't difficult to figure that out either. I think working with graphical stuff is far harder.  More fun, but more frustrating as well.

Glad you're liking it! I know I probably reference it too much, but it's only because that's what's open in the other window. Staring at me, with huge moist eyes, demanding to know why I haven't worked on it today.

Try these:

Check your screen resolution and your game resolution are the same e.g if your screen is 1440x900 DA must be the same to take screenshots.

if both are the same then try re-assigning your pintscreen button to a different key.

It was taking them just fine for a while, then something ate them all and it stopped taking them. I had all these great ones of Zev convos and they are just gone. Now it does the little frame hiccup as if it's taking the screenie but I can't find it anywhere.

*grumble, grumble* stupid Windows.

I've never even heard of that.  It must be pretty bad.  What is the character like?

 EJ --- i didn't know how to do anything in the cutscene editor when i first started. i was familiar with Flash though, so keyframes and that made sense. but if you start editing other cutscenes and changing little things, eventually stuff will click. BTW duplicate a cutscene by right-click Duplicate, done experiment with the originals
hopefully when my classes end  i can write up some tutorials or maybe make some video tutorials.

And you're right, the only way I'm going to learn is to just get in there and start messing with it.  But seriously, what you're doing is beyond technical know-how.  Amazing stuff!

Thats odd, so you take a screenshot and your C:\\Documents and Settings\\[name]\\My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Screenshots is empty?

hmm what version of Windows?
