I've been thinking (dangerous, I know)... about the intentions when Zev offers the massage.
Reading through some of the Zev-hate threads it seems to me that my take on what is happening with that scenario is different to how a lot of other people see it.

When I play and the offer of the massage comes up, I don't view it as Zevran wanting sex. When the Warden accepts his oath he makes it very clear that he will provide whatever services he can to help the Warden. Ok, so he mentions polishing armor etc and doesn't add, "stress relief" in his list of accomplishments, but even so, its easy to see his lines in the massage convo as him recognising that the Warden is tired, stressed, and he wants to help. 
Nobody else gives the Warden any respite from responsibilities.He just sees that the Warden needs some R&R and offers to provide it. The dialogue intimates that should the Warden want to stick with just a massage, that will be ok too.

Others may see this as Zevran being opportunistic and going after casual sex. I see it as him offering to help the Warden relax with a massage since this is a skill he has and a service he can offer. If casual sex is also of interest, then he's happy to oblige with this as well.

Does the toolset indicate anything different (I can't check) or am I just reading this dialogue wrong?

Game-mechanics-wise, he is asking the Warden to bed the same way all of the LIs do (and at the same approval as Al and I think Morri).  The way he offers it, honestly, it's my favorite of the tent offers.  There is a line (femWarden only, I think) in which he says that nothing she doesn't want to happen will happen; and with a male Warden he tries to reassure him that he(Zev) will make certain that it feels wonderful.  In all cases, yes, I agree with you.  He is just trying to make the Warden feel good and is offering one of the few things he feels he has to offer.  He sounds to me, in most conversations, as if he really doesn't think he has more to offer anyone than killing things and sex.  He even downplays his own right to hold an opinion when he argues with a decision the Warden is making.

I come from the outback, so a boyfriend of a 12 year old can be anything from 10-18. If 15 we have 13-34.

So the boyfriend-thing could not have been that outlandish, even though the males in question aren't exactly prize-bulls.

I agree with what you say about him feeling that sex is the only thing he has to offer. You see it in his poem as well--he's trying to cheer the Warden up, but the only way he knows how is through something sexual. So yes, I think the massage is the best thing he feels he can offer to be of service to the Warden. He's trying to show that he cares in the only way he knows how.
And I adore his offer as well. He doesn't sound crude or anything in it; in fact it's quite the opposite. He's so straightforward and unabashed in what he says, and it's damn sexy.

And yes, food does seem to be quite important to all of us. But why not?! Sex, food, and some sweet sweet loving are all anyone really needs, and they're in quite an abundance around here.
