@Sabriana, Bregan's Bow is beautiful, I got it as a promo for Awakening.

They went all out for that prank. It was hilarious!

Edit: Cause of top of page: Here's a pic for ya!!!

Thanks for the link, CZ. I'll go and check right away. It *is* a gorgeous bow.

By the way, how come as soon as Zevran thighs are up and gardening is mentioned, Ramante shows up? Coincidence? I think not. :D

Actually, the four twilight posters on my wall and the fact that I've reread the series more than a few times is the only way I get inspiration for my Zevran/Alistair fic.

:D

I'm a little scared of you, to be honest. As someone who has read at least 5 pages of the books, the summary of the plot, and watched both movies (extremely drunkenly, but still not drunkenly enough), I can say that nothing about Twilight is a pleasant experience. :pinched:

I'm seriously WEARING a twilight shirt right now.

also the bows only T5 so you might want to use winterforge to upgrade it to Tier7

CZ, I don't have Awakening. So I can only download the Origin model, right? It's not like MoTB where things transfer backward?

So? Why does the shirt not sparkle then? Explain that one Literator. You don't sparkle at all. Except the smile, of course, lol

Thank you once again, Cuddle. I'm taking the shield too. Cause I'm greedy that way. I like the stats for Awakening, but I guess it would be to über for Origins anyways.

Upgrade the bow to T7. Right. Ah..., I would need material for that right? I've done nothing more than switch the Shadow Armor's stats to the Ancient Elven one. Coz Zevran looks great in the AE armor. It doesn't look to hard to figure out, I'll just tinker. Tomorrow. It's getting late again. I hate that.

@ twilight again - the only think I can say is that- > the strip (Team Alucard!) pretty much sums up my opinion. I hope my kids will not dig that sh*t.
You know at first I thought it just some bad harmless teen romantic stuff, but after reading some excerpts I am seriously convinced this "book" is very wrong in many ways.

I don't usually take teams but if Alucard could exterminate sparkling vampires, than I am on his team :3

@Herr Uhl sparkle remark - sparkle doesn't make anyone and anything more attractive. Ironically sparkle effect is used in manga to humorously emphasize that a said bishie is attractive.  I am not aware of any other use of sparkle in western or eastern fiction. ... LOL I can't believe that I seriously contemplate sparkling, that must be some damn job bias *wonders*

Sssh... that's just because.. ehm... you know...

I'm a biologist so... gardening and plants are very interesting (has never followed a plant related class) and euhm... the human elven body is very interesting from a biologic point of view.

Yeah, that's it.

Edit: because I can.

Well, I don't think it did my son any harm (Twilight, I mean, as by the time I post this the conversation will probably have moved on). He's always been a voracious reader, and I don't think that everything he reads should have to be 'worthy'. I've read all sorts of stuff myself, including plenty of trashy stuff. I'm told it's full of religious references but that went straight over his head. I used to feel sorry for him because I see a lot more anti-Twilight stuff than pro-Twilight stuff. I felt he was always being told he was wrong for liking it.

He's gone off it now that he's older. I suspect that it appeals a lot to 12 year olds (or thereabouts), particularly the sexless romance aspect (they have romantic feelings but are too young for the sex, so I can see why they might find a necessarily sexless fictional relationship appealing), and I suppose I feel that 12 year olds are too easy targets. (Although I know adults enjoy the books too).

I didn't even want to talk about Twilight!  So why do I?

She is playing. See that cord? She started kind of thwacking at it indifferently with an annoyed look on her face.

I do agree, I would probably do the same if I happen to be a mother. I don't say it has to have an effect on every kid, but it might have. The described romance is imo on the very wrong side of things and I would be unhappy if my kid thought it's acceptable IRL, that is my main concern.

I hope someone will balance this serious talk with some naughty pics or Zevran's kneepads or something :3

We watched the second movie, which was chiefly notable for Edward getting his @ss kicked, and on the way home my husband said, "Guys are always driving her home in her truck and then walking off."  Apparently Bella has a disability that makes her unable to operate a motor vehicle in the company of someone with a Y chromosome.

To be fair, my husband was driving us home.  :P
