Lol, well it's 8 AM here. We could have breakfast together, Nonvita.

Sannox, that picture will compel me to finally play a CE. The expression on Zevran's face is melt-worthy. The more I think about it, the more upset I get that all of that was just cut and left by the wayside.

I also think that the cut off scenes make the DLC (including Awakening) even more contradictory in regards to Zevran.
That person who does Zevran for the add-ons needs to let go of his/her Zevran-hating.

Well heck. Edited for pic-purpose:

Edit: LOL, breakfast sounds good, Sabriana. I'm wide awake now, wonder why.

k, glad you guys are happy so far. i will post more as zevran stops hating me. i think he's got a riot going on in his neck sometimes. =P

lol Sten does look like he's trying out for thriller. my sister sent me that screenshot after i nagged her to give DAO a try and she said in her email, "WTF IS THIS THING FOLLOWING ME AROUND" with that pic. Haha... sisters. i told her he was her only love interest option so she better like him.. >=]

let's see... i have done (for Zevran right now):

HM (13 seconds, first one, plan to extend)
EM (~24 seconds, too long, needs more snogging less staring) (fixed because I like the staring)
HF (22 seconds, need to smooth first lip contact)
EF ~25% done
DM & DF only set up with models & basic anims so far

i DO plan on going back to revise each kiss after they are done. the EF looks terrible so far, you guys have no idea what a mess it was. or maybe you do if you played an EF (i am so sorry). =(

I'm really looking forward to the DF ones.   Some of the female dwarf kisses (I haven't played male) don't seem to match up - they are suddenly the same height, but she is looking up at him, or rather at something above his head because he has moved down.    I suppose it must have been too difficult to make him lean down to kiss.   But looking down and hugging would be nice.

Breakfast it is!  I know the perfect place(s).  But going to either would require us to all meet in either Louisville or Philadelphia in, oh, about six hours.  I don't think that's happening.

Yes, it's very frustrating.    The DLC would have been a great chance to add some little detail to his character, not mangle it.  Awakening, I've come to terms with, purely because I got a better epilogue card than with Origins.   But the epilogue card was the only acknowledgement of the relationship.    It didn't make sense to have Oghren there, and not have him acknowledge the romances, at least.

Why Jenovan. I'm shocked. Isn't it like 2:30 AM where you are? That's what you get for looking at Alessar/Zevran art. Adrenaline rush, ftw.

We would have to make it a continental breakfast. With crusty rolls, sliced ham, tomatoes, boiled eggs and unsalted butter. We also have coffee, tea, and orange juice.

The dwarf kisses should be interesting. I wonder if having Zevran kneel down would work out the best. I think the animation is there, because he does that to the femDwarf under certain circumstances.

aawn, cute art Jenovan! I've just drawn a lady with an own on her shoulder. IDK why, trying to test out a new art program. My subconscious is weird.

I'll have eaten breakfast by then, though.  (7.30 am here).   And I might have some transportation problems.  Otherwise, I'll be there in spirit!

Nooo.  Lynn's in Louisville for a crazy, weird breakfast.  Their food is amazing, and the decor is eye-gougingly colored and hilarious.

Well, I can make Philly no problem... Louisville, not so much. XD

Yep, 2:30 it is, and the adrenaline rush is wearing off.  -_-  But that breakfast sounds lovely... better than whatever I'll end up having in the morning.

I could make it to Philly, but I'd get pulled over.  Also, I have tickets to a show this evening, and I don't think I'd make it back in time.  We can dream.  I'll think of you guys when I inevitably settle on pancakes in the morning.

It's 11:30pm here, but for you, Sabriana, I would have breakfast any time of the day. =D Plus I know an awesome place that's open 24/7, so come on over to LA!

Weee, I have been staring at pictures of half-naked/naked men all day (er, for research purposes! no really!) and it's starting to mess with my head. Not to mention I've felt more jacked up (because of nerves) over the past 2 days than I ever have without, well, nevermind...

I want to turn into a turtle.

Oh lordy. Lot's of colors. Thanks Tellervo, just what I needed on a Saturday morning, rofl.

And imagine - a horse statue right in front. In Kentucky. How odd. :D :D

Edited because it's Saturday

We'll just wait for half an  hour. Then we can call it breakfast.

Of course it's for research, Nonvita. I believe that whole-heartedly. I mean, how else can an artist further their art? Really. anyone who says otherwise should be ashamed.

Soignee are you up again, or still up? My what hearty people. I feel like such a whimp... :crying:

I live in Lexington.  We're hosting the equestrian games this year.  I'm up to my ears in horses and it'll only get worse.  I think I'll be leaving this end of the state for the duration when it finally happens.

And, of course, you can't see all the mannequin legs sticking out of the walls, the past winners of their annual ugly lamp contest from the state fair, or the industrial airconditioner they turned into a giant rampaging robot.

I hate to say this, because I do love that kneeling kiss, but to me it doesn't look like he kneels.  It looks like he suddenly drops through a hole in the ground.  I'll try to take a video so I can show what I mean.

My boyfriend is taller than me, and it would be lovely to see one kiss that reminded me of that height difference.

As local dwarf expert, I reckon there's only 5/6 inches difference with the dwarves and Zev. I have lined them up and gauged this using science. SCIENCE I TELL YOU. (My Brosca's top of the head reaches Zev's nose.)

Is that so? I thought the height difference was greater. I just have to upload my Lisse and show her off. Perhaps I can finally get started on her. I just have to get some sort of mantra in my head to get over the arms.

I'd love to see a video, Sannox. The still pictures make it look very sweet though.

Tellervo, what? Air conditioners on a rampage? Legs sticking out of a wall. Rofl. You Americans are awesome.

I do remember going to a horse race in Baltimore back when I was there. I think it was called something like "Preakness". Lots of booze, horses, noise, and people in Baltimore renting out their drive-ways as parking spaces. That cracked me up. Very enterprising.

I'm straight and Zevran is one of my favourite characters. He's just plain fun to be around. He's the perfect side kick, and I don't know how so many people could hate him.

Well Indoctrination, homophobia helps the hate along. Even though both, Leliana and Zevran are bi-sexual. But I agree. I'm on a 'friend' play-through with him right now, and he's just as funny and loyal as a friend.

Kneeling dwarf kiss.
The kneel looks like a sudden change in height as if he just slips down.  I don't know if it's too fast, or what.  And she's left looking above his head.   The kiss itself is lovely, if I tell myself that she's stopped looking over his head!   Maybe if she would follow him with her eyes, it would look better.

You're in LA? Ha, I'm in San Jacinto. Sh*tty little excuse of a town out in the desert to the east of you.

Wasn't that earthquake fun? It made a tassle I have hanging off a picture frame on the wall swing in a circle for the duration and about five minutes afterward. XD

More on-topic, I always find it weird when I play someone taller than Zev, since my main characters so far have been girl elves or dwarves. I really need to give human another shot. And I need to make another guy. My first play-through (which I never finished, doh) was a male human mage, but his face was really... weird.

Ever since then I've been playing shorties, haha.

Edit:

To me it looks like he possibly just bends his knees, which one wouldn't want to keep up for a whole conversation, but...

(Although it still looks a bit... off, even for that, yeah.)

I can't resist the romance, whether I'm playing male or female characters.   I should try having him as a friend, because he is the most fun and joyful of all the companions.  I love that about him.  He's also amazingly loyal and devoted to a friend.   I think some of the friend dialogues are really powerful.   I think you can even get the line about hiim being with you till one of you dies as a friend (although I'm not sure about that).

I think you get that as a friend too, yeah. One of the main things I like about him is how loyal he is even if you're not in a romance. I've played the friend track up until after Taliesen, and he's definitely a loyal best-friend either way (if you invest any time in him). Anything beyond that is in addition.

Yep. I'm not an LA native--just here for school, and will be gone in a few months--so I don't know your town. >.> It certainly seems, though, that all the towns out east follow that description. XD

The earthquake wasn't bad, but it was surprisingly long. I think it's the biggest earthquake I've encountered in my time here, so yay! a life achievement. :D

Sannox, thanks for uploading that kiss! Muahahah, now I don't have to play a dwarf anymore. It's a very very nice kiss, but I'm not sure it could get my dwarf beyond Ostagar... :P

Yep you do. He's actually really fun as a friend, too. It's a whole different dynamic, and it's just as deep as a romance but in a different way. It's definitely worth trying a friend run at least once.
