Ooh, elf-kiss! I wonder how much I can play with the Console to get Alley to the gates prematurely in a separate save. All in the name of testing, of course. That nose, you know, it's pesky that way. Lots of testing needed.

Sadly my PC is a rogue in this one and I didn't have Sten in the party either (although I was so close to opening the console and adding him at that moment xD), but other than that, pretty much spot-on.

I'm gonna get back to my drawing now. At this rate, I gather I'll be done in three to four weeks, granted it doesn't drive me nuts or something first.
What you said about the horrid things needing to be displayed to make the good even better was very, very beautifully put. Definitely agree with you there.
And it's kind of the only thing that keeps me going right now. So depressing. Would be so easy to just do one of the lulzy comic ideas I have instead. Had I not already put in this much work, that is. <_<

So yesterday I spent the day with my friends, two of whom came down from their home in New York to see the few people in this area that mean anything to them before they leave for his post in Okinawa for 3 years, and their 2 cats. oh EJ i know that party_events.dlg is from... i think your first or second revision? it's way old, but i can update it whenever you have a B2B, no rush. i am going to work on dwarves sometime tonight and am not sure how complicated they will be yet (they could even be easy), so won't need party_events for a bit. 

please let me know either in the thread or PM if there are any major clips, glitches or weirdnesses so i can polish them up for the beta.

@Charsen With the long hair, there is a clip of his nose, but it's not bad at all (I think I only noticed it the third or forth time I watched it), and I'm not sure you can account for every hair style.  I really love the way you have him hold her; it looks like he'd rather die than let her go.

The final B2B is here.  It has your name on it.  I think you already have the script files; if not, they're also up there, but in the monster b2b (the "almost" complete one).  If you just want the .nss, .ncs, and .plt files, I can zip those up and put those up as well.

Edit: I'm going to make one more B2B, this one with zevran_defined.nss included, AND the files zipped up in case you don't want my scripts overwriting yours.  I'll PM you when it's up.

I look forward to seeing it, after seeing just part of the face, so I hope you finish it! XD And yeah... I killed one of my OCs "on camera" in another fanfic just last December, rather gruesomely in fact, and had to tell myself over and over that it was for the good of the plot and would make the nice stuff nicer. Poor Tannusen. Shot full of holes and blown up to boot -- being one of my characters is hell on the complexion.

*grins* Zev gets all the awesome matrix killshots, doesn't he? That's hilarious timing. XD

I loaded up my CE archer chick who's beaten the game and has saves all over the plot instead of playing with the Console on Alley's save, and tried out the kiss scene. Very nice, Charsen.

Yayyy Charsen it looks great. I noticed a little clipping of the hair (like ejoslin said) and her cheekbones (but she has rather large cheekbones), but it was all very minor and didn't detract at all from the scene. (I only really noticed it in screenshots.)

Edit: Would have included more Zev sad face but Wynne in the back there got hit with the Super Duper Overheating Laptop Melty Face Stick so it's a little distracting.

I thought I was done with morality, but while I was in the Circle I came across something very apposite. It's the first time I've taken Zevran. I think I have Ejoslin's mod, but this time I wanted to have a go at killing Wynne and flirting with Cullen. I didn't get to flirt with Cullen, but anyway ... Zevran came out with this:

'Do as you like. Certainly the notions of morality brought up by a professional assassin are dubious at best, yes?'

He seems to be saying that (a) he isn't amoral and ( his plea for the mages was about morality. Maybe he is also saying that his own morality is dubious, although I feel there is a touch of sarcasm there - he's used to people assuming his morals are dubious. (Of course, then he goes and kills Wynne ... for agreeing with him.)

So he doesn't think of himself as amoral.

Btw, if I leave mage headgear on, it appears in cutscene - is that intentional?
There was very minor nose collision, but nothing that has to be fixed imo (looks like eskimo kiss actually).
It's super awesome, squeeworthy, tender and loving scene. Thank you, Charsen, my Warden so deserved that!:wub:
