I think that even if you "kill" Flemeth it means nothing, she is alive somewhere somehow imo.

If we take Awakening as defining canon ... it only says that PC lives. I believe if you let Loghain or Alistair do the job, they are considered dead and thus DR may have not happened - am I wrong?

Yeah... I don't think there is a "canon" ending. Like I said, I think if there was one it would probably be that one... or maybe sacrificing Loghain, since in both the Warden lives and can make Alistair king (which does seem to be the default). But I don't know that anything was ever declared. XD

They didn't declare anything canon, just that by allowing dead Wardens to return in Awakening they essentially declared the US not canon. Another reason why I'm glad Alistair stopped my poor CE from killing herself so she could run off into the sunset with Zevran.

Yes, my first character was going to do the US. Why? Eh, she just had a lot of regrets about things, had somehow gotten herself into a relationship with Alistair that was going nowhere, had no future anywhere she could think of (especially after seeing the Alienage again), and had just decided that it was the only way she could actually protect anyone. Seemed like a good idea up until the point where Alistair is like "I'm not giving you a choice!" and killed the AD himself and her whole plan went down the drainpipe. But it was a good story. =P

Yeah, it's pretty much only there to substitute for the fact that they couldn't have an Orlesian Warden based off the events of a dead Origins Warden (for reasons people don't seem to understand, even though it should be painfully obvious). Still, that means that 1. an Origins Warden's death is reversible if you choose, and 2. the US Warden's story doesn't matter (because starting with a new Warden will only give you one set scenario). I don't know how possible future expansions are going to go, but with Awakening at least they essentially made the US meaningless.


BTW I'm so sad I missed the discussion on Zevran kink. I love Zevran kink.

Good evening everyone.. it has been a crappy day.
Had the most terrible lecture today you can't imagine (I have no idea what the teacher was talking about). When I finally got home I find my sister crying and totally panicking.
So I let her scream/yell/whatever you may call it, only to find out that our kitten has been attacked by another cat. She now has 2 wounds on her chin and 2 wounds in her ear and she is a little in shock... not very active, sleeping, very nervous. We to the vet, he says it looks alright but that we have to clean the wound a couple of times a day with cooled down boiled water..
When we got home, my sister starts preparing the water and wants to clean the wounds with a wet cotton swab, I decided we could do it a little faster so I pushed the head of the kitten in the water... the cat didn't like that at all!

Aw  well, I played the game a little today. And this part keeps disturbing me;

Right there with ya on the crappy day (/week/month/semester) part. I hope your kitty gets better! And that things calm down for you.

I don't know what this particular deal entails, haven't played the DLC.  I think this is where you get extra powers, but I don't know what the cost is (TANSTAAFL).

Warden's Keep felt a little strange in that way. It tried to present a difficult decision, but once again there was an easy way out where everything works perfectly. I mean, it makes my conscience rest a little easier, but it could have been a more interesting and difficult choice.
