I skipped the Howe Bryce scene to see if it got worse...Horace talking to Duncan. Oh I died, the author is trying to be funny and witty, but it makes her character come off like he is actually schizo and switching between the personalities of a little fan girl and a very naive soldier.

HE DID NOT KNOW HIS FATHER WAS A LOVER OF MEN is actually something I'll say in passing conversation to my friends now because of *that* fic. The poor buggers who've read it usually start giggling.

Just wanted to let you know that's a disturbing mental image. Where did the rest go?

The rest of him is draped over someone else's plate (still attached of course).  I mean, we are sharing him after all.  I'll focus on another body part tomorrow along with a non-sparkly vampire.
