I admit, I have a twisted sense of humor, but my mind is not in a place where I can look at those descriptions and see the twisted humor in them.

My mom had several tests done the other week. Results came last week. Mammogram-Normal. Bone Density-Normal. Echocardiogram-Normal. Pelvic Ultrasound-NOT Normal. They found a 2 cm mass in her uterus. She sees a gynecologist Wednesday afternoon. I'm trying not to panic, but that's not going well.....

*hugs* Nothing is quite like when your parents are sick.  I hope everything goes well.  Hang in there.

Yeouch!  My mom had a benign tumor removed from one of her breasts about a year ago, and my partner's mother had a hysterectomy around the same time for a growth...  Keep it together!  Someone's got to be there to hold hands and such before/after exams.

Thanks. I'm trying to, but unfortunately, it's my nature to panic at things like that. Hell, you hsould have seen me last year when mom was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. It's cancer, but easily treated. I still paniced.

Went through the same thing with my mother ten months ago, so I know how you feel. I'm very sorry for you and your Mom, but as the others said, it might turn out to be nothing serious. So try to be strong, your mother is probably more terrified than you can even imagine and needs you right now. =/

Yeah, I'm of the opinion that it's
probably part of how they "broke" Zev, especially if he resisted the
training at first as has been mentioned before.
Note that I'm fully
intending to write it, it's just a matter of how I do it. It's a
matter of whether it works its way into IO, or is done as a one-shot. I
was way more horrified at hearing "locked in an oubliette for weeks at a
time" than even at the torture or festering injuries.
The poor guy.
DX

STOP IT I NEED TO DRAW THAT SH*T!! ó___ò

IF IT HAPPENS IN IO, ALLEY CAN TOTALLY BUST HIM OUT OF THAT SH*T. SHE IS LIKE BATMAN, BUT WITH MORE DECAPITATION AND NO GADGETS.

:D

This is freaking EPIC my dear, needs to be put in sig ASAP, yes? Yes! Do it!
I wuv u. *g*

LOL, the original quote is something I said years ago and it got saved to my quotes tag on LJ: Alley Ashkeveron; like Batman, but with less gadgetry and more decapitation.

:D (Yes, lame last name. She's had like ten now.)

I agree with sami jo 3:
*hugs tightly too* (Maybe you can imagine this virtual hug to be a real life, pleasantly surprising one from a clean-smelling stranger?)

Good night everyone!

Edit: Piling up seemingly useless info ftw :wizard: Never know when it comes in handy, no? ^^
I can't keep nicknames straight, first OR last... I envy you. =/ Usually these days I go by "nomimono" (drink in japanese), but it was already taken.

So says the king of Ferelden. Sad, really.

Woah, didn't see this earlier. You can actually get pretty mean right back at him, can't you? Excellent.

Randomly geeking!

So, it's a good thing I can't spew out random fanart, or I'd be working on Zevran in a Western right around now. Why? Doc Holliday in Tombstone.

For those of you who haven't seen Tombstone but may want to, the full movie is here, all thirteen parts are listed to the right.

Doc Holliday, played by Val Kilmer, is gradually dying of tuberculosis through-out the movie. He definitely seems to want to go out in a fight. He also reminds me pretty damn strongly of a certain Antivan assassin. Clips linked are all worksafe, so far as I can tell!

"And what an ugly thing to say. I abhor ugliness. Does this mean we're not friends anymore? You know Ed, if I thought you weren't my friend, I just don't think I could bear it."

"I don't know, reminds me of... me. No, I'm sure of it! I hate him."
(...)
"Evidently mister Ringo is an educated man. Now I really hate him."

"Nonesense. I have not yet begun to defile myself."

"Maybe poker's just not your game... I know, let's have a spelling contest!"

"I'm your huckleberry~ that's just my game."

"Fight's not with you, Holliday."
"I beg to differ, sir. We started a game we never got to finish. Played for blood, remember?"
"I was just foolin' about."
"...I wasn't."

The real reason for dual-wielding:

"And you, music lover. You're next."
"Why, it's the drunk piano player. You're so drunk, you can't hit nothin'. In fact, you're probably seeing double."
"I have two guns... one for each of ya."

This scene reminded me of him the strongest:

"Doc... you ought to be in bed. What the hell are you doing this for, anyway?"
"Wyatt Earp is my friend."
"Hell, I got lots of friends."
"I don't."

Now half the time when I reach the Zevran ambush with a new character, and he steps forward but hasn't said anything yet, I have to drawl "I'm your huckleberry~". XD

I found a fic bordering crack at, yes I know I am weak-willed, FF.net.

It's Loghain and FemCousland, not romance, and it is deliciously odd. Here

BUT I'M TOTALLY RIGHT, RIGHT? Zevran is so Doc Holliday.

Hee! I liked it. All the talk of killing things and taking their stuff. XD

And of course, Zev's moment...

"—I am happy to say that our Warden remains pure, virginal, and unspoiled, despite that assassin of yours teaching her to recite filthy verses in Antivan."

"Hardly my assassin."

"No, indeed!" replied Morrigan with great satisfaction. "He is the Warden's assassin, and happy to be so!"

"So I am!" purred the elf, coming up beside Loghain on the other side.

Reminded me of the Shale banter:
Shale: I have noticed that the painted elf seeks the attention of the Grey Warden.
Zevran: He certainly does! :D
