oh yay! I am so ****ing happy you just read it, to be honest. It's such a huge WALL OF TEXT that I feel so bad introducing people to it. 50k words and counting, and I got another 8000 word chapter to edit. Lol

looks like i can extend the dwarf fem kiss to 35 sec. plus... don't tell anyone, but i accidentally made zevran touch her dwarf bewbies. D= but it could be hot? so i will leave it in for now and remove it later if it's too much.

only problem i'm having is the height difference still AND orientation. it seems like the animation artist didn't know how the animations were going to be used in the toolset and so it for some reason has to specify orientation axis *in the animation*. this is ridiculously pointless because it means i have to set orientation to counteract the default orientation AND THEN add new orientation to set it to the correct stance. why!?!? ~this is major kludge~

*blush* when I finish work I'm going to work on the next chapter, I procrastinate like woah on it ... it's why there's only one chapter a week. I know I write really lenghty chapters though; the stuff I read regularly on ff.net only seem to write 2000ish words per chapter at the most, but they update tfar more regularly.

I can't make it work in my head anyway else. I'll sit down with my post its and be all, "this chapter will have Zevran talking about religion, Alistair being whiney about being King, Jowan, Ser Perth and Shale talking about flowers in it," and I'll write scenes on my post its, and then arrange them so they flow right in the story. The finally sit down and knock it out... Hopefully.

For the conversations I will talk out loud to myself like a weirdo so it sounds right. I did this one while on a walk and got spotted. lol

Edit: Wow, this was incredibly tangential!  I do want to add that Terra_Ex is doing amazing things with Morrigan.  He is getting her right, putting in all the stuff that was cut out.  His mod is going to be spectacular.  I may do a Morrigan romance when he's done.  So Aeden may get his life after all!


I had to take out my whine.  I'll put it here, but it's boring so no one wants to read it!

My frustration over the weekend was realizing that the condition, "ritual known" meant that the warden knew about the ritual, not Alistair/Loghain, which is the dumbest condition ever.  I'm sure creating a condition for Alistair knowing is as simple as making a flag, setting it if the warden talks to Alistair about it, and then adding THAT as a condition.  
But I'm not doing it right.  I'm not a programmer, and I'm concerned about adding more bugs if I actually do THAT (I can fix the programming errors in the scripts, but not add new elements -- I'm too aware of my abilities there).  So now, my last change, if the Warden does the ritual, Alistair doesn't mention it.  Done and done!

nah that screenshot is from a slightly modified original head-grab kiss. i just angled the camera down. i'm trying to figure out if i should make him kneel or... hmm. it's hard because they don't bend at the waist, so leaning in & downward is best done with the head or full-body tilting... been fooling around with it though so i still have hope. if NOTHING else... they will just have to be the same height and we can pretend she's standing on his shoes.

Hmmmm, that explains why she's not kissing his nose in that one. It's weird, the dwarf kisses, how sometimes they're right on, but most of the time, they are off completely. CZ complains about that, and I've seen it in two of my dwaves, where they kiss the nose instead of the mouth.

Edit: I can't really tell in that picture, but is that Dagna?
