Oh, she hit him this play through.  She had NO objections at all to Zevran joining in with her, my warden, and Isabela.  In fact, when she knew Zevran was joining in, she flirted!

Flirts in the cutscene you mean, or later?

Ugh, no way.  No Orlesian cooties are getting anywhere near Zevran on my games.  Or Isabela cooties either.

Zevs pretty damn polite to the **** in the tower which is surprisng how rude she is to him once out of the tower

also taking Oghren to the tower is also pretty damn good to expecially his talk with cullen (yeah such a smart thing to insult the dwarven race when the people that are saving your asses are dwarves you racist ass)

Yeh, as soon as my Warden orders Zevran to join in ("You'll join.  That's an order!") she says something like, "ooooh, what have I gotten myself into," in a very, ummmm, pleased tone of voice.  Really, the foursome dialog is so funny, as is the +7 approval (which I know you get for the threesome as well).  And at the end, Isabela and Leliana are both like, "we can NEVER talk about this again," and Zevran answers, "I don't care if we never talk about it again, as long as we can DO it again."  Then Isabela talks about how either she's getting old or Zevran is getting even more depraved.  The guy must have been in man heaven!

Once my Warden gets serious, she's totally not sharing.  And actually, most games she's playing cards with isabela.

I'd actually describe him as gallant as they enter the tower.  It's part of the reason I really dislike Wynne.  I could understand her attitude towards him if it started all with magical bosoms out of nowhere, but she is the one who starts bugging him, and he managed to find a way to make her really uncomfortable quickly and shut up and just ran with it.  I love it when he tries to set her up with his friend in Antiva and calls her a "fine bird."

I find the conversation between Zevran and wynn when shes describing how it feels to be possessed by a spirit to be downright hilarious

also you really should try taking Oghren to the circle tower atleast once he has quite a bit of dialogue

also to those wanting to know what cullen says concerning dwarves if you have Oghren in your party her refers to you as "ignorant cave dwelling heathens" after Oghren says he needs to calm down

my Casteless Dwarf was not impressed

Well, let's face it, Cullen is a priggish bastard. The only reason women players go for him is they show very little of him in the mage origin and it's all awkward, goofy Alistair-like tenderness. My elf mage was originally a Fiona type and was going to romance Alistair but it just wasn't working out- however, if she had, I could see them having a discussion where Alistair has to assure he that he is not a Cullen. Because meeting Cullen again in Broken Circle should, IMO, eliminate any romantic mystique about him.

And even if Zevran approves +20, he's still not getting with Isabela with my PCs. :) Not that I don't like Isabela as a minor character. I picture my GWs coming back to her after the Blight and telling her about the duel with Loghain and having a good laugh about how Isabela helped save the kingdom.

On this playthrough, I dumped Leliana for Zevran - He gave me "the talk" and asked me to choose - Well...a few adventures later, and this conversation crops up with him and Leliana where he offers his "services" to her because it's been so long since she's "knocked boots".  There REALLY should be an option after that exchange where you can ask  Zevran "WTF was THAT all about?! after YOU made me break up with her and WE have a "relationship"?"  grrrrr LOL  I may have to turn up the flirting Posted Image with Alastair and see what Zevran has to say about *that*.

Hah, with +20 approval I'd completely avoid it.  Geez, I have him at 61 care right now, and I swear I had more conversations with negative approval than positive, haven't had him to the tent, and still have a couple of dialogs to still go through.  AND I haven't gotten the boots yet either and have not given him a bar either (he did get the gloves, because I love the way he says, "maker's breath!" when you give them to him).  For what it's worth, the four way does not count as a sex scene with him -- at 71 he still offers the massage, and you still get all the other dialog associated with it being the first time.

Cullen scares the heck out of me -- he is . . . creepy.  When my mage heard him in the tower, she was utterly freaked out and grateful that she was kicked out of the tower because Cullen probably would have killed her as she slept one night.

Really, you go to the next conversation he has when he starts talking about how long it's been since she's had sex, it starts sounding like he's picking at her beliefs in the chantry, not seriously trying to get her into bed.  Again, this is the skilled seducer, who uses it as a tool -- the one who was able to melt Morrigan -- for a serious seduction, I'm sure he has better lines than, "how long has it been since you've knocked boots."

You won't get jealousy out of Zevran, even flirting with Alistair, if that's what you're hoping for!  You want jealousy, be with Alistair -- he even admits he's jealous of Zevran if you get the juicy gossip conversation at the right time!

LOLZ.  Yes.  I've always found Cullen to be a bit creepy.  His feelings for the Fem!PC have all sorts of weird power-issues attached to it; he has a great deal over power of her, if he cares to excercise it, and she has virtually none over him.  There's something very squicky about that to me, and the fact that he goes 100% batcrap, murder-rage insane in the epilogue kind of seals my opinion of Cullen as...not cool, bro, not cool at all.  Like, emo Ted Bundy, ftl.

Ah, fanfiction.  So often it's horrific.   I totally want to read that one now, though.  Just for the lolz.

Isabella cooties got on Zev long before yours did.

Just an FYI.

EDIT: Oh, and you should consider what Cullen had been through during the blood mage attack.I'll leave it at that as to not derail the thread further.

In the first meeting, Cullen comes across as the awww, shucks type, until my mage asks him whether he'd really have killed her had she not been able to successfully complete the Harrowing.

After that one, she felt nothing but creeped out by him, even before she ever leaves the tower the first time. He'd be the type who'd feel perfectly justified to kill her on the spot, just to remove the temptation, or in a fit of guilt.

There's no way that I'll do the 3 or 4 some with Zevran (or Alistair), none of my girls would fit in that scenario, not the way I am playing them. Aside from that, none of them likes the way Isabella talks to them, the biggest objection being "pretty thing". Also, not one of them has the sex/love disconnect. They slept with Alistair because they thought they loved him and that he loved them back.

They eventually gave in to Zevran, but they knew that with all his braggadocio he was just defending, deflecting, and trying once again to convince himself that he was not at all emotionally involved. It worked to a point with Rinna, and he even admits that. Aside from that, when Wynne eventually does apologize, they can tell her that they knew that Zevran was indeed emotionally involved in their relationship from early on.

Zevran isn't a psychotic killer by any means, though he is an assassin. Part of the inspiration, if you must know, came from a report I read about some modern spy agencies preferring to recruit homosexuals as assassins because they typically do not form long-term relationships (which add complication to their existence). I wondered how this might make that person feel, and what would happen to someone that lived that way and suddenly found themselves falling in love -- something their entire existence tells them is a bad idea.

That was a quite shocking revelation about how you got inspired in Zevran character O_O!!!
