Thanks Charsen, that's what I was stealing the pose for anyway. There is this very popular fanart starring Zev's back, and those tattoos... well. Makes my skin crawl, sorry. Very nice pattern if it were on a frame or a piece of furniture or... anything but a male back. Especially since the tattoos supposedly accentuate musculature etc. ... so I wanted to see if maybe I could do it more to my own liking / more like they're described. I'm quite pleased with the back (in the first pic, of course), the front -... not so much. And I'm not done yet either. But you can take a look at what I was trying to go for if you like.

I've practically never spoken to him as it seems. *lol*
Oh, btw, I've been meaning to ask you; just how thrilled was Alley about the marriage to Nelaros on a scale from 0 to -100 anyway?

...Damn, I really like your tattoo concept for him. *_* And yeah, that fanart -- I know just the one you mean. It was pretty, but not really that... fitting? I think is the word I'm going for? Though it was at least someone drawing him with tattoos. XD

What number does that count as? I think I have one of her telling Nelaros to run at her signal, and a few others. I like Nelaros! Alley kinda did too, once he was dead. The guy was a decent metalsmith (the wedding ring is desc'd as being his make), was apparently a damn good fighter for their level, is the one who insisted on storming the Estate and helping break the girls out, etc. She didn't want to be married to the guy per-se, but he had his qualities.

You realize half the Zev fanart either doesn't have his face tattoos, has them on the wrong side, or has them on both sides, right? XD And no other markings!

Yeah those tattoos on the back in the one DA art pic are... well they are well drawn and look pretty, i suppose, but they do not strike me as very sexual, sensual or masculine.

They seemed less permanent tattoo and more "someone was bored with markers". Which, if Zev wasn't already tattooed extensively, would be a pretty good hobby, I have to admit. And maybe even with said tattoos!

But it was a pretty picture otherwise, and I'd hate for the artist to be a lurker and think we hated their stuff. =_=

I don't draw them, because (1) I am lazy ass, (2) I can spend usually only 1/2-1hour on that very much unplanned fanart - that means only sketch, no lineart, no cleaning, usually no clothes , (3) I am epically bad with tattoo design and it would suck anyway and (4) we don't know what should they look like and I am not exactly into producing non canon stuff. *shrugs* Lol, excuses
Anyway I love to look at others fanart, and Kaioku's tattoo concept is really sexy:wub:

He's pretty emotionally restrained, so seeing Zev glee is kind of awesome. 

Man, I'm totally ruining my rep this morning, with all the Zev-hugging and sh*t. I'm going to have to be extra cranky and caustic and offensive tomorrow to make up for it. I blame the fic.

You're going to regret saying that.
I just love dark chocolate, I can eat it forever... my body won't like that I think.. with that I'm jealous of my sister who can eat everything without gaining weight. Life is unfair, I seem to have inherited the wrong genes. -.-

My dwarf female hasn't left Ostagar yet and I created her 3 weeks ago, I just can't do it. ._.
After I created her I also created a CE and a DE and they have reached Lothering and one of them is now in the Circle Tower. There is something with my dwarf, that's just not working.
And I want it to work because I want to see the kneel-down kiss.

My CE is going to romance Alistair, get dumped at the Landsmeet and use Zevran as rebound.. Terrible, I know but I haven't played the game that way yet.. might even make it an ultimate sacrifice playthrough so I can see the Zevran epilogue card which is so sad.

Chocolate?  Party at Charsen's house!  I'll make non-chocolately stuff by request, though I'm leaning towards enchiladas right now.  Yes, it's 8 in the morning and I want enchiladas.  I'm weird that way and the teenage grumpy monster is making me want spicy comfort food.

Randomness: the toolset is twenty kinds of non-linnear fun.  It is anti-intuitive.  Fun, but not intuitive.  And it ate my night.  My poor mage is still sitting at camp.  He was suppose to be killing a dragon last night.  (there is suppose to be a great line from Zev when you approach a dragon.  I've never heard it, but I'm usually focused elsewhere about then.)

yes Sami -- the toolset is VERY anti-intuitive. in fact, if you use any kind of intuition or common sense, it *knows* and will thwart you. do i sound paranoid? it's because the toolset is trying to get me. it's not paranoid if it's true, right?

I mean, I could update right now, but it's less than one page long and mostly consists of Alley bleeding all over Zev and Zev ordering Alistair to gtfo and get help in his "no bull****" tone.
