Wouldn't those be awesome on him? I saw that sitting dusty on my external drive and made grabby hands.

Don't know if he would, since he believes in "clean kills", but as an intimidation tactic? Hmmm...

Even more so in Golding's books. Probably Gaider has read his Golding as well.

The novel is pretty epic, and you get to learn a lot more about Inigo and Fezzik, if you find them interesting ;D
Fezzik's backstory was pretty cool when I read it, and Inigo, oh poor Inigo. It made killing that guy all the more sweeter.

Alas, right now if I look at a lot of text, even very interesting text, my brain fogs over. Literally. It's why I haven't been able to read any long fics lately either, and its been years since I could do more than skim a novel. But I'll bookmark it anyhow.

Hee, that's so awesome.
Funny story, my ex had never seen Princess Bride until one day I hauled him into a used bookstore and we paused by their VHS area and I saw a copy of it and made a joke... and he just stared at me blankly. So I asked him, jokingly, if he'd never seen it. He said he hadn't. I was like WHAAAT?!
And a little old lady down the aisle turned around and went WHAT? YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT.
And it turned into his favorite movie. XD Princess Bride wins. Flawless victory.

That was my favorite book as a kid and probably the only movie based on a book that I have ever really liked. Hmmm, do I play DA:O or watch Princess Bride tonight?
Since there was the amusing Hamlet linky above, has anyone else seen Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead or The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)? Both are truly snicker worthy, though I can't search YouTube for clips from this stupid laptop because it no longer plays well with flash. Argh! (Yes, I just got my geek on in a major fashion. I was a drama nerd in highschool. No one should be shocked by this revelation.)

Reading from the screen does that to me, sometimes. I had to read the whole book while translating. Then again, from the looks of it, both of us have already read at least half of their local library's fiction dept.

Probably NSFW. Certainly not safe if you ever watched DBZ and need to not be lolling your face off out loud, in real life.
I mean, I know a lot of it is nostalgia, but they totally make fun of everything bad and good in DBZ. I love it.

I'm sure no one wants to know all the gory TMI, but I have systemic and discoid lupus. It affects my brain. Also, severe multiple chemical sensitivity, photosensitivity, and fibro. I have inflamation in the brain and it shoots my short-term memory full of holes, making it so that if I read something longer than a sizeable one-shot fanfiction, I start forgetting what I read at the start. It also makes concentrating really freaking hard, variable depending on how bad I'm doing on any given day.
A few months ago I was able to read longer fanfics and skim my Dragonlance books while I was writing in TAF, but I've been doing worse rather than better for the last bit.
I always feel stupid talking about it on here because this is a public message board and people always assume that someone who's sick who speaks of it is doing it for the wrong reasons, or something. But it comes up a lot when your life sort of revolves around it. >< Normally I wouldn't care about discussing it, but on here I feel like I'm inflicting it on a whole bunch of people who really don't give a sh*t, lol.
Anyway, [/TMI]
TL;DR: Can't read it right now, on-screen or no. <3 But I have it bookmarked.
