Edit: Zevran is such a sly bastard. I love that he can talk his way past all three checkpoints.

It's not just the screen, although the eyestrain from the UV doesn't help, no. Even though I have a UV filter on my laptop and run it at its lowest brightness settings and ocassionally have to use dimscreen. ^^UpiH wrote...

Alas, right now if I look at a lot of text, even very interesting text, my brain fogs over. Literally. It's why I haven't been able to read any long fics lately either, and its been years since I could do more than skim a novel. But I'll bookmark it anyhow.
Reading from the screen does that to me, sometimes. I had to read the whole book while translating. Then again, from the looks of it, both of us have already read at least half of their local library's fiction dept.
I'm sure no one wants to know all the gory TMI, but I have systemic and discoid lupus. It affects my brain. Also, severe multiple chemical sensitivity, photosensitivity, and fibro. I have inflamation in the brain and it shoots my short-term memory full of holes, making it so that if I read something longer than a sizeable one-shot fanfiction, I start forgetting what I read at the start. It also makes concentrating really freaking hard, variable depending on how bad I'm doing on any given day.
A few months ago I was able to read longer fanfics and skim my Dragonlance books while I was writing in TAF, but I've been doing worse rather than better for the last bit.
I always feel stupid talking about it on here because this is a public message board and people always assume that someone who's sick who speaks of it is doing it for the wrong reasons, or something. But it comes up a lot when your life sort of revolves around it. >< Normally I wouldn't care about discussing it, but on here I feel like I'm inflicting it on a whole bunch of people who really don't give a sh*t, lol.
Anyway, [/TMI]
TL;DR: Can't read it right now, on-screen or no. <3 But I have it bookmarked.

If you mean the movie? Of course. Oldman and Roth, a fine piece of work. I don't think many people "get" that movie though. Too bad, good stuff. Oldman is so underrated IMO, very versatile actor.
On Topic: I think if Zevran weren't a Crow, I could have seen him being an actor. He seems to like being fairly dramatic and over the top. I doubt he'd have a problem dressing up like a woman either, as the parts required.

Oh, definitely, he has quite a flair for the dramatic, and look at his performance(s) in Ft. Drakon.Sresla wrote...

OK...Any advice for doing the LM where you spare Loghain? I think I might hafta turn down the volume so Al won't sway me. But any pointers are good. I am also stripping the poor boy too, so he'll attend the LM happily and upright.

You can strip him in the Arls estate afterwards, just do it before talking to him the last time.
From the Prima Guide:
Landsmeet Support
Heading into the Landsmeet vote, you need a lot of support to crown your candidate. Here are the best ways to drum up support, and some actions that will sink your support, as you vie for Ferelden's throne.
Positive Influence:
Talk to Anora before the Landsmeet! Tell her you'll support her, even if this is a total lie. You gain a very large positive.
You get a heavy positive if you rescued Oswyn (Bann Sighard's son) from Howe's torturers during the "Rescue the Queen" quest and you select any option mentioning Arl Howe's crimes.
You get a heavy positive if you rescued Irminric in Howe's dungeon, gave his ring to Alfstanna in the tavern, and then mention Loghain hiring a blood mage to poison Eamon.
While you're rescuing people from Howe's dungeon, find Vaughan (yes, the jerk from the City Elf origin). Tell him you want his vote in the Landsmeet, and let him out of his cell.
There's also an assassin quest in the market that gets you one vote in the Landsmeet.
Once you confront Loghain at the Landsmeet, talk about the Blight. You need to perform a Persuade check, but bringing this subject up will always win over Arl Wulff, guaranteed.
Alternately, if you have high Persuade, pick the dialogue choice, "I'm not the one who betrayed Ferelden!" in the first dialogue round. You'll get a small positive.
You get a small positive for bringing up the slave trade in the Alienage.
Negative Influence:
Never bring up leaving Cailan to die. After the first dialogue round, this is never a Persuade and it is always a small negative.
Do not talk about Alistair in the first dialogue round. This is a small negative. If you really must bring him up, do it later, and you need high Persuade.
When you talk to Anora before the Landsmeet, do not tell her that you think Loghain should die for his crimes. Alternately, never talk to her. Either way, she stabs you in the back.
You get a heavy negative if you rescued Irminric in Howe's dungeon, refused to give his ring to Alfstanna in the tavern, and then mention Loghain allowing Rendon Howe to imprison and torture innocents.
Mentioning Arl Eamon is always a negative if you didn't give Irminric's ring to Alfstanna (not just if you teased her with it).

Depends on how sensitive you are to Ali yelling at you, I guess. ^^; But I thought it was pretty simple... side with Riordan and just think that his way of seeing things makes sense...? Be pragmatic. Alistair is too busy being emotional.

LOL I solved my problem, just talk to Riordan and Zevran before you head off, and the fantasies that most likely ensue will distract you. Sexy accents FTW!

Hmmm, do you want Ali to live or die? I felt worse letting him live in truth, because he was condemned to a miserable life
Edit: Sexy accents DO go a long way!

I'd like to think that he learns to be happy with what the warden has afforded him. I am rping it so, my PC is getting Al out of danger, because Theirin Blood and a Mac Tir Wife is the best compromise for the Country. It will stop dissenters on both sides in Daiya's eyes. Plus it gains the PC her army. And she is sparing Loghain because she was given a second chance, and she gave her fellow companions a second chance. Howe was a sadistic Monster, Loghain in her eyes has a method to his madness, and it can be put to good use against the BLight.
I will be posting screenies, I just have to find the appropriate emoticon to cover AL's junk:D
