Trip, it's you with the Zevran/Sten shot in Haven, right? It's needed in the Ali thread right now, I think. XD

And <3 <3 Stewart and Colbert. They are both adorable!

I'm still boggling over the Fox News commentator saying "Liberals don't have five children." WHY can't I get beyond that? The rest of the clip was better.

It's a glimpse into a mindset that I don't see very often.

I thought the bit about liberals not "allowing" (abortion?) their kids to have downs syndrom (ie, any disability really) was hilarious too, as one of three disabled hippies in this house.

BUT THAT'S ALL BESIDE THE POINT! The point is he knows what luuuuupus iiiiiis, other than a running gag on House MD. :P

<- has systemic and discoid lupus among other related problems.
<- 's girl roommate has lupus and all those things as well.

(It's why I moved in. Dietary and chemical-free requirements are synced and ready to fail!)

That man is smrt. :wub::wub::wub:

@Nonvita & Trip:  Hee, yes, Sten looks good in that shot - but poor Zev must be getting a major crick in his neck,

Yes yes, seen/heard it a billion times before. ;) I won't get mad at anyone for it, I'm easy going! But it does get old after the billionth time while my finger has chunks falling off because my immune system freaked at my slicing a few layers of skin with the nail clipper. XDD

Just the same my apologies, I watch House with a passion(except this season which I keep missing><), and I couldn't find a Naked Chase one either. The internets has everything but that. I want the naked wombat:crying:.

Yes, he is VERY smart.  <3 him much!

Still boggling over Fox News, though.  There really are a lot of, hmmmm, people in this world who view it WAY differently than I do!  It's a bit of culture shock, I WILL get over it and watch it again.

I didn't realize that Lupus was not well known, though.  I've known a few people who suffer from it (ugh, I'm so sorry you do -- from what I've seen, it's awful).

Edit: GAH it didn't take long for the Ali love thread to move so my dwarf kiss that I left them is no longer their page topper :crying:

I... I... this is completely off topic but my "I would so do this man" meter just broke from overload.
6:15 - 6:45 to see Jon Stewart describe (fox news as) Lupus.
HE KNOWS HOW LUPUS WOOOOOORKS! 90% of doctors don't seem to know that!
I... yeah... the meter broke. Intelligence is so hot.
*shuffles back off*

And, he's deliciously sarcastic. Image IPB

I have had the biggest crush on Jon Stewart since FOREVER. Seriously.

<3<3 Thanks guys. ^^ If anyone is curious, my laundry list (that I can remember off the top of my head, noting that my memory is shot full of holes from brain-fog) is discoid and systemic lupus, severe multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS), severe photosensitivity, fibromyalgia (the little cousin to lupus), chronic fatique, aaaand type-2 diabetes.

This would be why I'm online constantly. ^^;;;

But anyway, JON STEWART ROCKS MY WORLD. He fit more into a "lyric" than most doctors know on the subject. I think I may have a crush. (I already had one, but it just grew again.)

In retrospect, my biggest beef with WoW was that my ignore list was limited to only a smattering of entries.

I would have blocked everyone on the servers I frequented, if possible.  "Hello, trade chat!  Are those some murlocrickets I hear?!  Yeaaaaah!"  Of course, I suppose that defeats the purpose of playing a MMORPG.

OT.

Since Princess gave me a reason to dig out my tablet after five long years and you guys don't seem to hate it, my brain figured 'oh, why not'. Pardon the excess. Also pardon the anime style. Hopefully I didn't mess him up TOO badly.

@ aroihkin : Oh dear, I hope you get better soon!

(I pretend Fox News doesn't exist these days, to be honest.)

(Also, now I should take my leave of the thread and go....finish my powerpoint due Monday, haha.)

Thank god I never played Wow. I stuck to Guild Wars, but even then nothing but bots and idiots spamming in local chat for gold. Urgh. Thank god for the chat tabs that you can turn off.

@ barking -- you're very kind, lol.

@ webbed -- the ones on that list that keep me housebound are the completely untreatable ones, and there's no real cure for any of them (off the top of my head). My life expectancy is actually a lot shorter than it ought to be, since my heart is probably going to fail someday from damage. ^^;; There are various points in life where one's immune system ratchets up naturally, and mine is already too high, so if the heart doesn't get me the rest might.

...But... yay artwork! I am a fan of flat black, and blood! And I think he looks rather good in your style. Plus, shirtless! :D Always a bonus!
