Sorry.    I did try, but I'm bothered even by the scrawniness of the elves.  I love the human female profile in the game- tall, slender limbs and still (probably unrealistically) decently endowed.  I'm glad they don't make all the women in the game have the busting derrieres and boobs I've seen in other video games.   Nothing against an ample woman IRL, of course, I just feel like the T&A profile is there for male players' benefit.

its not really all that different form game developers putting guys like Alistair(or most JRPG protagonists) for women to drool all over really though is it?



though the women in this game are pretty tame (without mods any ways)

I think it's sweet, too -- what's nice in the second one linked is in the animation, he actually starts to smile instead of it being static.  Here's the other, but it's dark -- I see his face fine, but I'm not sure how it would look at a lower resolution.  I have the other one linked as well again -- so again, the warning, the second one of these has a dwarf boob in it because I use a nudity patch (I just hate the way the underwear looks).

Edit: Apparently someone reported the dwarf boob so I'm not sure that one will show up if clicked. Why do I find that incredibly funny?

the nude patches have many many variations...boners and non boner models included





now excuse me while I go back and rage over the latest combat tweaks overwriting the 25 tactics slot mod

I use DAO mod manager, and there's a package called "Natural Bodies all in One."  It's very easy to configure so you DON'T have the erections.  In the female sex scenes, you don't see anything from the waist down anyway, so missing out on those surprises in the dungeon is fine with me^_^

Edit: I wish there was a way to just remove the bras, actually.  But as far as I know, that mod isn't out there.

Yeah, my first time playing after installing Natural Bodies I had taken Dairren in bed with me, so apparently he died happy... I take it as a compliment to my character's talents, but it still clued me in that it was time to tone things down. XD

I use Natural Bodies w/ DAO Modmanager, like ejoslin. Realistic Bodies also has a much larger variety of figures and is made to work with Natural Bodies.

Now, if you use Better Sex Cutscenes, you'll find yourself in a pickle about which male version to use, since those show more. But for people like me who are fine with the vanilla cutscenes, it works fine.

That said, there is a mod in the works here that seems like it might solve these problems? We'll have to wait and see once it's released...

I actually don't like the Better Sex Cutscenes (I know, sacrilege). I know there's a smiling Zev in one of those, but he looks ill, I think. Really, though, if I wanted to watch porn, I'd watch porn -- *grin* ok, I only looked at a spicy one, maybe the milds are not so . ..  ummm  . . . so.  I think the tent scenes in the vanilla game are enough to show an intimacy, which works for me.

All that said, I have to say again that I do like the smiles in the dwarf scene of the vanilla game.  Dwarves deserve SOMETHING special!

I don't like them either. I've now seen my character make some of the most hideous faces imaginable (and this is supposed to be good sex???), plus they look robotic. I tried both the zesty and the mild (hey, I really tried to give the mod a chance), but the mild isn't much better. You lose the intimate facial expressions from the original (which, I'll be honest, I like a lot) in favor of a little more emotionless action down below. Like you said, if I wanted porn I'd watch porn. I'm not that desperate for pixel love.

(I'm not saying BSC isn't a great mod- it is. It's just not for me, but there are obviously a lot of people who like it. I'm just glad it's completely optional.)

like I said earlier male dwarves get jipped badly (expecially during the normal kiss) you female dwarves got spoiled

Hmmmm, I wonder if the scenes are the same then, just with the models reversed.  Off to youtube I go!

Second edit: I mean, of all the tent scenes, not just dwarf ones.  It's actually pretty funny that the best one is also the character type that will be least played.

there is one thing male dwarf(nobles) have over the females in the zevran romance department ~ we have a child

can you imagine how adorable it would be to see Zev playing with the prince of Orzammar and driving his mother up the wall by teaching him stuff he really shouldent :3

You know how when you come into a room and you only hear the tail end of a conversation, and sometimes the bizarre end of it too...  LOL

Well, on the way home from work I heard a cheesy 80s love song (Heaven on Earth by Belinda Carlisle, if you must know) and it got me thinking about my elf mage and how I really don't want to mess her up with an Alistair interlude before she gets to Zevran.  In fact, I am considering that Zevran might end up being her first.  I know that the Tower is not presented in monastic terms, if you believe Wynne's banter, and a pretty elven lass would probably not want for invitations.  But let's say that before she went to the Tower (or even after, extrapolating from some things Fiona says), she encountered the darker side of human men's fascination with pretty elven women.  Maybe it's even how her magic was discovered, if, say, some would-be molester got a fireball in the nethers.

So, my question to the esteemed panel is:  How would Zevran react to learning that his Warden love not only has never loved anyone before, but is also a virgin?  This might be a scenario where I would actually have her hold out on tenting until after Taliesin... not sure about that.  Just would like to try something different, and if she is inhibited it would fit.
