Oh good, on the expression. I've literally been looking at it too long to "read" it anymore. =_=

I just hit 19 hours, 00 minutes and thankfully the rest of the shading should go much faster, I still need to draw his elbow pad, figure out how I'm going to shade his hair, and detail that damn armor though.

Also, yes, I started with the middle finger for his hand. I thought folks might like that. ;P

Just noticed. It's also not very apparent if the Warden is male or female, haha. Ambiguous is hard to do in drawing, but this may be the case and imho it fits.

Nuu, i just can't afford to spend much time on that. I did digital piece 10000x5000 pixels (downscaled colored here, fullres lines), with super clean line art and color and everything just once, and I am not going to do it again I took me a month about 2-6 hours per day. Bleh. And my finger hurt. For fanart I just stick with quick doodles. I did three or so clean line arts, but meh, I am lazy.

I like that the gender is ambiguous, Minaleth. At first I thought the main person was Zevran, but no tattoo, so is that the warden, wearing Zevran's earring? I think the pose on the left suggests something interesting going on out of frame .



Aro, I'm getting used to the plain, dark armour, with mainly his face and the blades standing out. It almost seems a shame to put in a lot of shiny detail. But maybe that's just because I really like what I see now!

That picture is highly awesome. I could never stick to an artwork for a month, dear god, lol. What I do already tends to burn me out for a year or three at a time. O___O

Oh, I realy like that.   I looked at it and thought 'break time at the Pearl'.  I love the thoughtful poses.

For Zev to make that mouth, I'd hope veeerry interesting.

And yeah, you see what I was talking about the other night? Heh, and there's going to be big thick blood "drops" across the screen from the top right to the bottom left, arching back to the back knife in a big swoopy line. It's probably going to come up cross the other knife and the armor, though I posed him in just such a way so that his face will be easy to avoid obscuring with it. I still hesitate to put all that curly-cue stuff on the armor, only to busy it up further with blood...

"Drops" because I'm not sure what to call them. I'm planning to mostly do (albeit airborne) like the blood trail on Modern Alley & Tannu I did years and years ago. Shading and everything, though the blood'll have highlights to it as well this time around.

( There's a lot wrong with that picture, I know. Like why is there blood on her palm? Why is there none on the sword hilt? I don't know, it's five years old. =_= I was learning to play with blood. And Tannu's arm looks retarded without proper contrast shading to make up for the outline I did. Ugh. )
