Ok, here's the deal. Anyone/Everyone can copy and edit this list. Keep it snowballing.
Only rule: if the Zevthread in any way inspired the creation or continuation of a Zev-themed project, add it. (Mods made for Zevran but not inspired by this thread shouldn't be added, those go on Sresla's big list of Zev mods etc though!). =P

Can be... groups, mods, threads, fanfics, fanarts, blogs, whatever...this is what we will paste to the haters

Then when we're all good and happy let's stick it up on Sresla's group page and bring it out like crispy old photos of semi-naked grandchildren for Thanksgiving.

Links if ya got em.

The Worth of this Thread:

Updated to include latest round of incredible arts, fanfics, swimsuits, added "not so serious discussions" too ~ i even went back and found our zevinjection fridays (for the record, Soignee started it). So..... add more great stuff as you like =)

edit: i won't add a pic to the page topper with this post since there are great pics as links and the banner--- =)[*]edit: removed keme stuff

You forgot Twilight hate, so I added it under "Not so serious discussions", although it was tempting to put it under "Serious".

I also added Alicorn under Memes.

If you want to change what I added feel free.

Links to fridays - most useful :) Actually I intend to make new banner/poster/whatever for each friday using the pics that were posted the previous friday.

Oh, and now I get this idea to create something really representative for this list instead of friday banner (no stolen images, just Zev screenshots and our stuff with permissions), that would be very awesome *wanders of to graphic editor*

Question for fanfic writers: How do you feel about healing potions/poultices? I think I'm about to decide they don't really exist. It would be better if they could only be made by mages, and then you could say they're lyrium infused, but really anyone can make them, they just use herbs, and they make things considerably less dramatic.

I've kinda dodged the issue so far.  I mean, poultices in the abstract is fine, but as insta-heal items in the middle of combat -- no.   So far I've just had spells used directly.  (And even those don't heal serious wounds completely.)

I'm thinking if I ever have to use a healing potion, it may be something more along the lines of allowing the user to ignore pain for a while. Image IPB  So it might still be useful in a fight, but wouldn't heal injuries.  *shrugs*

awesome Mina! lol our Fridays are becoming ~professional~

Creature, i dont do fanfic and only sometimes skim what is offered up in this thread occasionally ....but... why not make potions have a very particular method of administration whether it's literally lethal from a drop overdose or the method of ingestion must be very regulated to the person's symptoms? just an idea, just woke up so take that for what it's worth =P

Yeah, I'm not so sure what to do about healing magic too. I think for simple things like lacerations and broken bones it should work pretty well. But healing things that don't normally heal, like torn ligaments, maybe not. And anything complicated, like a blinded eye, organ damage from poison or disease, or injury with destruction of brain tissue and you'd better have a really powerful friend in the Fade willing to help you out.

I would ignore the use of both potions type during a fight (you wouldn't have time to stop), but I would use them lke this:

Health - I would use this as a method of speeding up the healing process,so while good for minor wounds, they would be no help against more sever wounds which would require magical healing and even magic can only do so much.

Mana - I would have these act like a energy drink, allowing the mage to keep casting but with easch spell they would become more and more exhusted.

I hope this makes some sense..

It actually sort of works that way in game.  You get your HP back, but injuries aren't cured by the regular healing spell or potions, and those injuries impact your stats.  I've been handling it similarly in my fic, though I admit that they are injured far more often in fic than they are in the game.

I figure mages should have time to chug lyrium potions, so they get to chug them with abandon. There are drawbacks, of course, and neither Morrigan nor Wynne use them very often in my fanfic.

The cheek tattoo is an absolute b*tch, I can't do it in paint at all. I'm going to attempt to do it in photoshop, although I've have no experiance with designing stuff in it. :(

Heh, I'm tempted to be really evil, add that image to my signiture and not send it to you.

Awwwwww:wub:

But why would you be se mean? :crying: BTW, if it's just a matter of making the design, I could make it in Illustrator and send you the file to work your magic with. It would save you the hassle...

@Creature--agreed on everyone's suggestions. Healing potions shouldn't even really exist and healing magic should be limited in scope. Even in the game potions/heal spells seem weird to me...

Lyrium potions, on the other hand, should work, since lyrium is supposed to be where magic comes from, but they are supposed to be addictive.

@Charsen--still no Princess on there? =( And I was thinking we should add "Group Photos" to the list because I was considering making another one, and we could do a new one each week or something. MG beat me to the "Twilight Hate," so that's all I can think of. :P

The in-game healing seems weird, but so does the ability to raise a brief, localized, but very violent thunder storm or blizzard, or make lightning jump from you to someone else without electrocuting yourself as well.  It's magic!  :wizard:

(Also I going to blackmail you anyhow (I'm evil like that you see, not CZ branded evil though). )

well i was playing around with some unique kiss ideas (for when i'm done with the default ones)........ and mostly it's just to drive CZ wild

but i do intend on doing something like this for my expanded kisses/sexytimes when i have the chance. this week is a little rough due to a term paper due thursday but... hoping to finish the default kisses by then (doing one more update to the Gatekisses for Morrigan later today too)
