yup, my brother-in-law got me into a Sabbat Mexico City game and then later Mage game some years ago. he and my sister are huge table-top gamers. they are in about 3-4 games a week or something nuts
iirc i played an antitribu Tremere first (got killed by some piece of crap cammy) then when we played the transition from oWoD to nWoD i was a gangrel. the Mage game was set in a world like Pan's Labyrinth mixed with Silent Hill...i played a mostly average joe detective who had a low degree of death/spirit/mind spheres
i sometimes miss WoD though, it's better RP than D&D usually and less pretentious than LotR crap. i haven't RPed in a while though

Investing in Charm or Intimidate (depending on whether you're doing a Paragon or Renegade game) is always a good idea. You get so many more dialouge options and better quest resolution with them. So you're on...Noveria, then?TripLight wrote...
*should've invest more points in Charm in ME, totally didn't get Qui'in to testify.* It's what I get for not having the guide, lol.
Still can't find out what the green eyed Zevran means><.

Sorry to interuptbut I did some dream meaning hunting as I was bored.
Green
Green signifies a positive change, good health, growth, fertility, healing, hope, vigor, vitality, peace, and serenity. Green is also symbolic of your strive to gain recognition and establish your independence. Money, wealth and jealousy are often associated with this color.
Dark green indicates materialism, cheating, deceit, and/or difficulties with sharing. You need to balance between your masculine and feminine attributes
Assassin
To see an assassin under any condition is a warning that losses may befall you through secret enemies.
Attacked
You are feeling threatened by someone or by a strong emotion of your own. You feel frightened, attacked and in danger.
Tears
To dream that others are in tears, indicates that you need to rethink your actions and how your behavior may be affecting those around you.
*shrugs* Make of it what you will.

I've never LARP'd or done tabletop. I was only introduced to WoD two MUSHes ago, and of course proceeded to rather seamlessly WoD-ify two of my older OCs. XD
My roommates have been into it for a hell of a lot longer, and have played in a bunch of different spheres. Vampire, Mage, Demon... I think between them they've played all of them a few times over and they've both staffed for various spheres on various MUSHes. Me, I only know Changeling. I played a "plain" mortal once, a SWAT sniper-turned-detective, but I never ended up doing much with him since I made him right before I ended up leaving that game. The research was interesting, though.
Er, and all of this is "old" WoD.
Edit: Thanks Sadi. ^^

Yep though I may just re-roll and start from scratch, since I know the mechanics a little bit better. But maybe not, this is pretty much the first time I am playing a game blind, so I'll see where it goes. I decided though not to do romances , I don't like my options very much.

I had a particularly long-lived Brujah (meaning she played the politics game really well) who hopped from head of the Seneschal's body guard detail to deputy.... Had loads of boons, was an honorary clan member for Venture and Gangrel, was one of the most physically feared people in the city (though she was social primary, which gives me howling lulz to this day) because I apparently do the stoic thing really well.... All bluster. She had very little physical power to back up this image people built up around her. I tried nWoD, and really disliked it, but had fun being part of the powerhouse coterie in town... three ghouls with long leashes ran the freakin' city. Also, I got to dress up as a cowboy.
I miss it so much. Not the crappy LARP I was in later on, but the good one I started in. Internet and tabletop just aren't the same.

there is much to be said for a good social blustering... lol. my gangrel lasted for 3 months IRL, and he never spoke a word in the game. he was entirely mute, and not particularly social either... quite different from myself, but he was very enjoyable. nWoD is .... hmm. it's hard to get used to. i miss a lot of the old system for vampires but i do not mind the new Mage system vs. the old, in fact, i prefer the new Mage system entirely
i miss gaming too. met some of my best friends through my network of table-top buddies. you really have a different sort of friendship with a roleplay buddy than you do with a "regular" person... or at least, i see my roleplay friends as much closer than my regular friends
*is currently uninstalling/reinstalling the toolset due to fatal database error...again...* hopefully i don't lose all my work on the kisses

I've been playing a (old WoD) Vampire chronicle (well, technically 2, there is a year break in between them) with a group of friends via AIM for.. dear lord, 5 years now. I don't know how to describe it so that it sounds awesome, but it is awesome. We've had the Camarilla of Boston decimated twice now. XD (Extra bonus: visiting Boston, where the GM and his wifey used to live, and visiting the in-game locations of note. XD)
I play a decidedly un-badass Toreador. But he's very, very pretty. And psychic. And everyone likes him, because they often don't have a choice!

Yeah, I met one of my roommates and another person we used to have living here through online RP, albeit freeform multiverse RP. It's actually how we got to talking about health, found out my crap all matched her crap, and knew what my problem was. I moved down here for a lot of reasons, but that's one of the main ones / is directly involved in several of them. RP is almost directly responsible for getting me away from my last crazy roommate, and keeping me out of my relatives' clutches, hahaha.Charsen wrote...

well, thankfully i did a *full B2B of everything in my database* lol... so hopefully i didn't lose anything at all. but there is always a chance. and it takes for freaking ever, no matter how much RAM or CPU power you have. the toolset is just a baby like that. hopefully all i lost was time and sanity. i rock the low sanity look though
and yes... less math more magic!
oWoD Mage
nWoD Mage
regarding ME2 romances, just fyi, there are no gays in space apparently. and a squid-headed girl with an extra flesh snorkel does not count as m/m, just sayin.. whatev
That is so insanely amazing!Aroihkin wrote...
