I really like that fanart and his expression makes me want to write terrible, amazing things. But I can't get over his tattoo being on the wrong side. That seems to happen a lot in Zev fanart.

Yah, the only problem being that it's mirrored. A shame, but still amazing.

The tattoo doesn't bother me because I don't think the guy looks exactly like Zevran, anyway.  It seems like more of an impression of an aspect of Zevran (the flirty 'tie me up and do terrible things to me and I'll love it' aspect!).

That is beyond hot, rather disturbingly.  (I'm an age play fan, and having a much younger boyfriend complicates the dynamics in a most intriguing way.  Especially if the older one plays younger, etc.   But I'm straying into TMI.).    I don't think it looks exactly like Zevran, but I think these pictures capture his playfulness.

I know what you mean. That is in fact an 'artistic device' - interpretation of a character more than a literal depiction. It's not easy to do it - I know I can't e.g. But anyway it's about using visual means different way than just portraiting something. Often I am not sure if I like or dislike the result. I might be into more 'direct art' ...
