I don't remember the conversation, and only went through it once, but it was pretty hilarious.

Heh, I never play Elissa as innocent. But she still likes books about dragons better.

yes I picked that Dairren's refusal to go through with my "I could show you if you like" was pretty hilarious (especially that *gulp* he did)
he still ended up in dear Alexanders bed though :3 ...also I find it rather disturbing I had sex with my DOG still in the bedroom

This was Jack Cousland, who's often a jerk, and he really just said it to shock him.ejoslin wrote...

It's a little different as a male HN. You say "no fewer than three, if you please," and Fergus laughs and says "a real woman, not a roll in the hay."ejoslin wrote...
I think my favorite exchange in the HNF origin is if you ask Fergus if you should leave he and Oriana alone. He'll answer, "you'll understand when you have a man in your life," and you can answer something like, "I have no fewer than three, thank you." Oriana warns you VERY strongly at that point to be discreet.

You just have to believe his story that he had no choice and wants a different way of life. My elves have understood the bitter necessity, and my human noble wanted to do a good deed.Jolly Jenkins wrote...
On my playthrough I cut Zevran's throat the first chance I got.
Why would you want ANYTHING to do with an assassin that tried to take your life?

way back when I lived in england (and before we had a 3 acre back yard for the animals to roam in) the cats stayed in the house at night
and one of them used to sneak into my room while I was asleep(door was busted so it couldent close properly) and use my head as a pillow :3

One of mine does that sometimes, but he tends to decide to start fighting with my head eventually, so then he gets thrown on the floor!Cuddlezarro wrote...

Exactly. Lock the cats out and there will be no loving going on.

Why would you want ANYTHING to do with an assassin that tried to take your life?
But couldn't you reason that he'll just kill you in your sleep or whenever you put your guard down?
He's a paid assassin! Sorry, but I don't buy the "I have no choice" reason. The darkspawn have no choice but to be monsters. That didn't stop my hero from mercilessly slaughtering them.
Why should Zevran get special treatment? If he was really a good guy he would have taken the right and difficult choice and stop MURDERING people for money and leave the crows. So the crows will probably have him killed?
The right thing to do isn't always the most practical thing to do.
And you know what, its straight selfish if not downright evil, that he's willing to murder other people to keep his own life.
Sacrifice sucks. But in the end you either choose to do the right thing or you choose to be selfish.

I am a (gay) man and I adore Zevran. He may bed everything that moves, but winning his heart is so difficult and so rewarding that it felt much more real, and accomplished. And his bad boy attitude, his sassy sarcasm and undeniable sex appeal do the rest
I'm not gay myself but I do agree with this post, any time I have a female character zevran is my first pick

You know, if you say something to him at just the right time, he points out that if he wanted really you dead, he'd have poisoned you already.
Why do I let him live? First of all, it's very obvious to me (and if it's obvious to me, it's OBVIOUS) that the attempt was designed to fail. Second of all, learning he's a slave makes me feel a bit sorry for him. But best of all, it ticks off Alistair, and if Alistair is annoyed, it's a good thing. He's like a pesky little brother!

Anyway, I got the wonderful Alistair, "Maker's breath, but you're beautiful. I am a lucky man," which, as always, makes my heart skip a beat. But then, I went to speak to Zevran and got his "what do you plan to do with me talk." The end, if you go that way, with, "I could always use a friend." "Oh, not more than friends?" "I'd like that." "So would I, I should think." Why does that just hit me so much harder? It just seems more . . . I don't even know. Genuine I suppose.

yes flirting with duncan is female exclusive sadly
The sad part is that it's not even a flirt at all. It's actually a polite refusal of a flirt attempt. It still makes me chuckle, though.
On topic...
*sigh* I'm trying to romance Alistair with my new Elven mage, because I want to see the famous Landsmeet break-up. I'm finding it very hard to stick to the plan. The "Gain one ally. Now." mindset is hard to shake off. Poor Alistair, he's going to get dumped again, just you watch it.

Ok, the only way I've managed to do this ever since my first play through is to turn on the Alistair romance JUST before the landsmeet! You actually can do the entire romance without being forced to choose if you remember to go to camp at the time he'll be propositioning you. You can't have the final conversation, but is that really a loss?
Edit: If you actually want to do the romance in a real way, I can't help you there. I always end up dumping him when forced to choose

I give up -- triggering the juicy gossip conversation with Alistair is so hit or miss with me. I'm romancing Alistair this time, and he still hasn't brought it up (dumping him way before doing his personal quest; hopefully he won't get flagged "still in love").
have you had the conversation with alistair about what it was like with the other grey wardens and he goes on to tell you about the story where the warden from the anderfels outdrank any one yet?
in my experiance the juicy gossip conversation only ever triggers after iv had that conversation I mean every play through Iv always gotten that conversation immediatly after if had the drinking contest talk
