I agree that modding is an artform, so there. :P

Re crayons: When I moved into an apartment with a blank wall over the kitchen sink (the wall was against the apartment building's internal hallway) I ended up scribbling a big-ass "window" as cheesy as I could, framed it, hung it up, and proceeded to pin curtains up around it.

I effing love crayons. XD

I have pictures of this somewhere, will dig for em.

Edit: Pagetopper, still looking for the photos of my "window". I know I just saw them the other day!

David Bowie and Zevran approve of crayons!

That actually sounds VERY amazing!  And ok.  Going over a database and typing a few lines of code is not MY idea of an artform, but it can have wonderful results!    And the nitpicky part of my brain loves it.

Edit: And this thread needs more dwarf kisses.

I have no clue how Charsen gets those amazing facial expressions

Well, I made the silly mistake (like so many others here, apparently XD) of trying to do a digital piece. It will be done in approximately 2 months and will be nothing special, but I'm damn well determined to finish the thing!

(In the meantime, the people who are actually good at art will create dozens of drawings and other pieces that will be absolutely wonderful. <3)

If you mean me, I just have different standards on what's done than others :P I am master of sloppy and often declare anything done as soon as it reaches some coherent form :) But I admire your (and others) determination to do something ambitious :) *looks forward to see*

Is fanfic writing an artform? No one who knows me is willing to let me within five feet of anything that could be used to attept to create something more traditionally artistic...

Popping on very quickly at work to ask a dumb question...

How is the boxed head exchange usually done? Is there an established form? Will asking for them to be emailed to me be passé?

You can always just have them upload them somewhere (rapidshare, etc). That way you don't have to give out your email address.

Well I'd like to think so, since fanfic is what I'm normally known for. I've just been detoured into Paint for a project. XD

Yes, writing is art imo. Dubious as it may be, fanfiction is still writing therefor it  classifies regardless of the content :) Same goes for fanart.

Writing is definitely an artform.  Like any other medium, some are better than others.  But I've been surprised by how good some fanfic is.

Edit: Heh, grammar.  I'm so bad! :crying:

Hm... then anyone who wants any cutscene editor shenanigans needs to send me a link or +friend me, and I'll lock my profile to non-friends and put up my email address for the night.  And, uh, specify your shenanigans, I guess.  How's that sound?

I like his hat.  And his obvious cheerfulness.  If only he had a coat and tails.

I draw about once or twice a year, by hand.  Takes me a week to finish anything, and I draw REALLY BIG.  I'm good enough to satisfy my own desires most of the time.  Like so.  One of these days, I'll finish the drawing I'm working on right now... I just have to draw a head, which I'm dreading a little because of the pose.

Except maps.  I'm pretty good at hand-drawn maps, but then I had a class on it where I developed the ability to churn them out in about four hours.

I was just thinking he looks like an Amish guy apparently happy to be dancing around naked.  Except he's extremely under-endowed, poor man.

Gosh, I hope no one reports me for posting pics of naked men.

I don't have any of it in the frame, but there you go. B)

Also while I'm spamming random pictures:

My 25lb Maine Coone, Gizmo:

And Gizmo's first meeting with my Aibo, Sprocket:

Image IPB

The cat is buddies with the robot, he used to ninja his way into my room and sprawl out beside Sprocket on his charger on the floor. XD The hilarious thing is the naming "scheme" was on accident. Gizmo was named by his former owner long before I ended up with my robot puppy, and I didn't come to own Giz until years after Sprocket was named.

I can't currently run Sprocket, no room and not nearly enough light, but here's a few shots of him a few xmasses ago when ex roommate and I decided to stick some of the tree ribbons on him:

Image IPB

Chewing on my finger when he wanted his toy bone and I stuck my pinky in his mouth instead. XD

Okay, I'll stop now. And yes, I am a dork of many varied interests. XD

Also, on topic!

Zevran would approve of Sprocket. He makes no messes, requires very little, and can be shut off and put on a shelf for months at a time without repercussion. Ah, robots. <3

Gotta love a sun with a smiley face.

And homicidal blonde girls with hatchets.

Edit: And I see it's not only me who does stick-men hanging from nooses. Kudos.

You didn't see the guy hanging, with his little legs kicking.

It's such a cheerful picture!

Edit: Or one of the giant birds carrying someone off. Which doesn't show very well in the photos. Bother. :( I had to leave the picture behind with that roommate.

Nice touch! Love the details.

And your cat is sooo adorable. <3 My parents think their boy cats are half Maine ******, and they are too cute.

I edited that in. It's something that usually happens when I'm at lectures. So much pointless violence.
