I am new to writing, to fan-fiction, and to this board in general. I've never attempted to put together a full-length novel before for any reason, though I've always been interested in trying. The trouble for me was, as it is for a lot of first-time authors, coming up with something truly original and interesting to talk about. Wanting to write but not knowing where to begin, I turned to my favorite scifi series for inspiration
What follows is the product of several days worth of effort and agony.I only have two chapters currently available for reading, approximately 7,000 words worth of material. Another three chapters are soon to follow, however, adding another 13,000 or so words to the story.
As chapters are finished, I will be compiling them into a PDF in novel format, so that the story can be read online or with a tablet.
Synopsis
At the edge of space at the dawn of a new era, six unlikely adventurers are thrown together forming a crew of pirates and miscreants, thieves and mercenaries, who will do anything to stay alive in this brave new world. After taking on one high-risk job from infamous Omega kingpin Aria T'Loak, the team finds themselves neck-deep in trouble caught between two warring factions, proving that even without the Reapers, the galaxy remains a dangerous place.
