Because some people use their real name (hopefully not for a volus, but I don't care if you do), and some people are adverse to it being revealed.

Sadly I don't see that ever happening as they'd then have to moderate everyone's names.

Anyway:

Adept - Niftu Cal (duh!)
Engineer - Don't have him yet, when I get him though it'll be something comical.

I name all my toons after star wars.

I named my adept Lil' Nuna (little critter type animal)
and the engy as Keepuna (huttese for 'shoot' like dangit, not pew pew shoot)

my n7 fury is named Utinni because i gave her yellow eyes and a brown hood

my salarians are gungans usually
