Here is mine.
They added VOLUS! Say what you will about them not being lore friendly, they keep you Alive!
I played gold on glacier against Cerberus, we had me, the Slayer, A turian havoc, And two volus, of different class, they spammed the shield boost and we kept alive until extraction, one made it out, Le Volus. And i got crap load of credits, I'm not normally a Gold player, Volus made gold see like Bronze.

Bioware keeps making multiplayer easier and easier.
Every single faction has been buffed considerably since release, Kits don't really help when you get stunlocked to death, or blow up by a Possessed Abomination, or shot from accross the map at pinpoint accuracy by a Phantom.

And we have our elitist. The game is harder in frustrating sense. I can play fine on gold, but that doesn't mean I like it now. New staggering and cheap units don't make the game harder, they make it more frustrating. Like someone said in a thread, challenge is something you can overcome with skill. If you get staggered and keep getting staggered till you die, no skill will save you there.IronRush wrote...
The game is most perfect today than never was. Amazing!
Is harder, but very challenging.
If better for you, play bronze or silver.

HAHA. Paranoia ever. Shield gate remain active dude, don't be stupid, without healh gate scions would one shot every class but krogans. Only a fool denies this.
False, Bioware has said that the way they fixed Vangaurd-Glitch was they changed the health gate mechanic(it also appaerently removed the immortal glitch) so shield gate is stll there its just they changed how health gate works.
How did they change ? Fighting a scion : first shot > shield removed, full health (shield gate still perfectly active). Seconde shot > it remains a little part of health bar (health gate still perfectly active). Then i die because of the DoT if i don't use survival pack.
sorry to say this so bluntly but you're wrong. I was playing the other day and it was one enemy left vs me by myself (teammates got inst-killed by a pretorian, spelling eludes me but wtvr). So, this final scion shoots me, I had full health and shields before he hits. After I have aminiscule amount of health, down under one full bar, and my shields are gone. There was no shieldgate. This was on silver with my Turian Ghost. Stim pack saved my life.
I've had similar problems recently that forced me from gold matches. I was going down far too often, much more than usual, and had origionally thought I was just in a cold streak. Silver being more difficult than before as well by quite a bit tells me it's not just me being rusty. The effects I'm seeing tell me it's the game mechanics being quirky.
note: stopped playing for over a month, came back a week before retaliation DLC to get back into it. I had been doing well, owning on gold w/ no consumables used at all. Post DLC I'm barely making it to extracion on gold w/ friends and won't even consider anything past silver w/ randoms. Something changed....

The only thing i'm not a fan of is the quick stomping effect. I would hear "teammate is in trouble" the i automatically see a skull. Now i know that they implemented a move that makes the AI stomp teammates almost instantly...in this in think they need to tone down that particular gaming mechanic.

I´ve had my fair dshares of games that ended before wave 6. So, I learned from those games that using consumables is the difference between wiping and extracting. I also learned that the Human male soldier isn´t the most overpowered class in the game, just because the soldier class in general is the coolest.Jaison1986 wrote...
scare off new players? I mean elites and experienced player won't care about it since their skill level aparently have no limit and they can take anything, but newbies and common players won't stand a chance, and they might get tired of only playing bronze and leave. And there is also the issue that playing with randoms on silver and gold now becomes too risky. There is an limit of how much the average player can take.
What is wrong with new players learning the ropes? Are new players a worse breed than us who are playing since day 1? Of course not. They will learn and adapt, especially since silver is easily doable just be leveling your toon to 20.
And most Gold games I play in have very good players in it, who can easily carry a not so well equipped player, as long as he is a decent gamer. So it might just not be as hard as you think.

1.I mean the geth were a joke back then now they are probably the hardest, on top of that the Reapers and Cerberus got better, over time like we did
2.Infiltrator were gods back then, they could do everything
3.There a lot more weapons to max out now
4. we also only had 3 objectives, and the inf could do 2 of them on his own

The geth, what can I say about the geth. I hate geth. I hate... stunlock, stunlock. stunlock..." I'm down"... And now with their new buzzing fly bomber...
