I already have the Collector's Edition + Awakening installed. I've bought the Ultimate Edition recently for the DLC. How should I use the codes of this DLC?

- Should I uninstall the Collector's Edition and install the entire Ultimate Edition instead?
- Or can I leave the CE+Awakening on the hard drive and only use the DLC codes from the Ultimate-package? Or are those DLC-codes only usable with the Dragon Age-code that game in the Ultimate-package?

I ask this because the old Collector's Edition came with a few extra items that are not in the Ultimate Edition. Or are those extra items connected to my account, and not the game-code?

I'm confused. Oh, how I long for the good old days when there was no such thing as internet-activation accounts...

Your account.  Confirm this by going to the menu on the left of this site, selecting Profile > Your registered game content.  If you see it listed there, then you're good.

I believe as long as you redeem the UE DLC codes with the same account, they will be downloaded into your existing installtion of the game.  Make sure you've upgraded to the 1.05 patch.  Admittedly, I've never tried this, so if it doesn't work, you should uninstall everything, reinstall UE, apply the 1.05, and then let your collectors edition content download in-game.
