I was REALLY tempted, but didn't.  Then was very glad when I died trying to revive either him or the other Krogan on wave 11.  I am always glad my mic is push-to-talk, too many times I rage at someone, without transmitting, then do something really stupid, probably a karmic comeback, just to remind me that keeping my ego in check is a very good thing.

I'm always in two minds as to whether people want me to continue playing in those situations or just wipe and get the wave 10 credits. Seeing as I play on PC I just have to guess, not like anyone's going to actually say anything.

I had a team of PUGs go down on wave 1 or 2 last night. I clinched and get us as far as wave 6 before I decided not to get back up after they all went down and let themselves get stomped repeatedly.

I know what you mean, played a match on Firebase Vancouver this morning with three Volus players. I was the only real damage dealer, Asari Vangaurd. Sometime around wave 7 or eight I had to fire off a missle or two beings we were getting overrun on objectives.

By the time extraction came around, I no longer had any missiles. I hate using them, but I put my squad first. Extraction was a mess, revive, down, revive, down. No one else would fire any missles and we were getting
overrun. I placed first in points, and two out of three Volus voted to kick me... I dunno. Maybe they were just looking to get a fourth in the lobby.

Im pretty sure it was never implied in the OP, he just said stop running rambo style

My Vorcha Soldier does very well ramboing against them (lots of swarms to kill means enough to keep my bloodlust regen at full, but I would say that staying in a group against collectors is generally a good idea for anything else. I'll rambo if I can, but if the group can't survive without me, I'll join them.

That said, keep it a loose group. Way to many players haven't figured out that they should run away from the scions grenade clusters, and I've seen far too many groups go down because someone killed the possessed abomination in the middle of the group. I would suggest staying in the same area of the map, but keep your distance from each other.

And in the original post, he said people should be covering each other.  It was contexually clear that he was not suggesting camping.

Prior to the patch, I probably would have let it go, since continuing on would have been an ego thing, just to show I can solo.  But post patch, extraction bonus, not just for me, but for the other players makes me want to continue.  Especially since the guy playing the other Turian had been a good teammate.  He covered for me when I was doing enables, I covered for him.  

On the other hand, one of the Krogan, who I was covering for an enable, turned out not to be doing it, he waited for me to do it, so he could run off and kill more things.  Wasted about 15 seconds before I caught on as to what he was doing or not doing.

Staying in a tight group against the collectors can and most likely will end with all 4 dying at the same time to a praetorian death ray. I don't think I have ever seen so much death and reviving in a game until yesterday. It was glorious!
