It only takes me 10 minutes with 2 characters to beat it.

Well, I imagine it goes down a lot quicker on Casual difficulty.

Except I play it on the Hardest difficulty.

I find that hard to believe.

You can believe what you want doesn't make it any less true, also here is a person on Nightmare difficulty fighting a high dragon solo.

He cheated. he's only wearing 3 hp regen with next to no physical protection, yet he's healing as quickly as he's being attacked by the wyverns.Link to a console doing it on nightmare.

Well I did it not solo but with Anders, can't prove it, but doesn't change that I did, I should state that I had varric and aveline in the party too but they got wiped out 10 secs into the battle.

Well, DA's dragons are purple for some reason.

Purple dragons, you say?

I wouldn't mind seeing a hatchling as a companion. Ridiculous as it might sound, if we can't have Dog back, then give me a baby dragon.  Could you imagine a cute little dragon going around struggling to flap his wings or when he coughs a small fireball comes out of his mouth? Imagine the people who would underestimate him...

5 pages in 5 hours for an obvious troll thread?

Well done, DinoSteve. I applaud your commitment, if not your goal.

The High Dragons in DAO and DAII weren't decent enough?

^ This

We must not have played the same game.

Well, I admit the dragon in the Sacred Ashes part if you fought it was kinda boring ... use resist fire, run to one spot, hit, rinse repeat.

The one in Morrigan's quest was a bit more difficult but pretty much protect from fire then hack away.

The dragon fight in DA2 was much better though.  Had to deal with distractions and not get deadified by the stupid thing.  I liked that one.

I hated the high dragon fight in DA2, but this was mostly because the game kept crashing during it.

I'm sure Twilight can give him some if he wants them.

I hope they don't give us a dragon that takes one hour to kill as i would be bored to death.

someone may have made this point, but imo the problem with DA2 dragons isn't their art - it's how boring the fights are - yes the high dragon can take half an hour on nightmare, but that's just because he has assloads of health - you just repeat the same 2 phases 3 times and that's it. if anything, they need to work on making boss fights more interesting and varied, a la ancient rock wraith or harvester - now there's a real boss.

This. Dragons aren't epic battles like they should be. They are just able to take massive amounts of damage. All you do is hit..hit...hit...hit...hit...hit...heal...hit...hit...hit... until he finally dies. So freaking dull dude...

Well, Dragon's Dogma made some real kick ass draconic creatures- even the Drakes were awesome. Heck, the drake alone kicked the crap out of me until I was level 35 and even then it beat me up pretty bad.

Grigori (The Dragon) even moreso.

I loved their hands for some reason; they had five fingers including the thumb. I really like that little design. Not to mention they are very intelligent (and some spoke Latin hohoho) and Grigori saying how he got fed up with the zealots was pretty funny.

The Skyrim dragons were patheticly easy to kill once you got the hang of it same with the DA dragons. At least in Dragon's Dogma you felt like the dragon/drake was actually fighting you, not just swatting about, occassionaly breathing fire in the wrong direction and jumping up and down for some reason.

With Dragon Age dragons...eh, they just came across as another lot of vermin to kill. I had no attatchment to them whatsoever. As Mr.House said, they just felt like another run-of-the-mill raid bosses. Didn't help they are obviously dumb animals and the fight was just LONG, not challenging.
