The Dragoons are frustrating, Bioware if you aren't aware of it...

The very only character that can deal with them easly (of course my personal opinion) is Batarian Soldier with explosive balistic blade, because when it does explode it does stagger/stun them all so you can unload a pirahna in them. Really I hope you will do something about them in the upcomming balance changes or the player base will shrink soonish after the OMG-OMG-NEW-DLC-rush end.
And yes, this is another full-of-sorrow-and-grief thread. Don't **** about it but just join the sorrowville.

"Let me see... fast as Usain Bolt and jumps too, pretty much can't be staggered but can stagger your entire team to death, has armor that is so heavy they can't be grabbed but still can jump dodge and sprint! Can fire from distance, moves in packs (with phantoms!), and has no delay on attacks!
Yep, Bioware is trolling us
Seriously this unit is a bad joke, and needs some serious balancing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

The hacking on gold is impossibru if happen on wave with them, they just jump in and rip everything, you can't stagger them unless you use some special powers like balistic blade or I believe proxmine, the scorpion does not work on them, and if you start running away to get some room to deal with them they starting to shoot at you.
The Scorpion does work on them, just like every other Cerberus unit aside from Turrets, Atlases and Guardians while they have their shields... Your aim must be terribad if you can't stun them with an AoE projectile simply by shooting at the floor.

Not an issue to someone who plays extremely aggressively anyway (that is attacking the spawn containing 8 enemies while they're clustered together) but I can see how that would be annoying for someone who is not used to fighting multiple enemies at once.
They are not hard to take down but they are just 1 more reason to pack a shotgun.
Dragoons are unfinished mess. I understand that they are new and shiny now and maybe kinda of exciting for some people, but the novelty will soon wear off and you'll realize how cheap and dumb they are.

I keep thinking they're one of my teammates because they look like a phoenix, move as fast as we do, and always seems to be standing right next to me.

Did you checked it on silver or gold? On silver scorpion does work on them, but not on gold. you need much more force to stagger enemies on gold.
I only play on gold/Platinum nowadays, and it stunlocks large crowds of them on both difficulties.
.... You just need better aim, I guess.

Phantom's are still a bigger pain than a Phoenix wannabe in an armoured suit.

There is no way to cover somewhere and have a few seconds of break for recharge shields, because of Dragons, Dragons everywhere.

Or a CC weapon like the Scorpion.
They don't really affect someone who build characters/classes in such a way as to deal with all of the factions on all of the maps. Any one of my characters can CC, but people who don't know how to make good character builds would probably suffer.

I agree that it would be nice if they had a more complex AI, but I still think Cerberus is more fun to fight now than they were before. If you're going to camp, you now have to be intelligent about it as opposed to following the generally accepted strategy of "camp in the back of the map behind the counters".
And on that note it's been a lot easier to find maps other than white/glacier in matchmaking now, so I think its for the better.

I've said it in another thread, but let me quote myself

They can be staggered just fine, and take crazy melee damage. They're fine, and a hell of a lot less durable than Phantoms.

On top of looking just like a phoenix and moving as fast as we do, they play just like most phoenixes too..... charge in blindly and spam the heck out of smash. And they die just as stupidly.

I never EVER camp. I farmed FBW like 5 times total and never willingly. Another CQC unit to close in faster was welcome, but not THAT fast, not that relentless and stupid. I mean they are as fast as Hunters, but still shoot you from range.
