They are the most frustrating enemy in the whole game. They act like husks - never take cover, but they are deadly at range and up close, this is not acceptable. You made me stop plays agains cerberus and I never really playd against geths unless it was unknow game. Unless you somehow make them bearable I, and I believe a lot of other players will avoid cerberus which leaves me with repares and collectors.

The very only character that can deal with them easly (of course my personal opinion) is Batarian Soldier with explosive balistic blade, because when it does explode it does stagger/stun them all so you can unload a pirahna in them. Really I hope you will do something about them in the upcomming balance changes or the player base will shrink soonish after the OMG-OMG-NEW-DLC-rush end.

And yes, this is another full-of-sorrow-and-grief thread. Don't **** about it but just join the sorrowville.

They are only tough if you let them group up so dont let them group up, I find them easy to deal with and feel the opposite to you. I feel they are too weak of a unit.

I'm not complaining that they are hard. I'm complaining that they have **** for brains and are given too much crack.

Seriously try goining only sniper on them, try disable 4 devices or kite them away from hack zone or drone. And see how much fun you'll have.

Thay are not hard or challenging, they just make you waste your time.

Umm i just had to do 4 devices on ceberus gold by myself last night ironiclly. The video is posted in the forum as well lol.

and why would you not carry a backup weapon? SMG ULM works now. there are really light shotguns like the wraith. there is ULM for pistons and things liek the talon and paladon pack a pnuch. there is the scorpion which staggers eveyrthing. oh and the acolyte which weighs nothing.

If you are gonna solo be prepared for anyhting that can happen

Did you enjoy it? I did enjoy soloing before. Now due to Dragoons being nuisance and pointless to kill it's just boring.

nope lol.

phantoms camp the devices and dragoons are agreesive and fast. hard to shake them to buy yourself 10 seconds of time to get a device. I hate the device objective becuase its teh only one that doens't let you defend yousefl or even use an ops pack. not to mention dragoons can knock you off a device much like a brute.

there is a balnce between getting the pahntom not to camp it and getting teh dragoons far away enough to buy you 10 seconds

I didn't have too many issues with Dragoons last night, except on extraction, where there were constantly at least three Dragoons charging the zone at any given time.

We all made it out alive, but it was chaos.

They could use being a bit slower. They pack enough armor to have, well Armor, but move faster than anything in the Cerberus arsenal. Them being good in melee and ranged is fine. Them being able to effortlessly bum-rush you with little means of CC'ing them apart from specific abilities is a tad bit overkill. At least Cerberus is not the easymode faction anymore.

I do find it a bit dissaponting that bum-rushing enemies now take priority over cover. I mean, I don't want ME2-style whack-a-mole galleries, but ME3 had a good balance of cover-based shooting and hairier close-quarters action. Now all the factions can force you out of cover so easily it's barely worth it anymore, and Collectors in particular make cover a joke.

They should not be able to disregard Tactical Cloak, for starters.

They are insanely cheap but not really hard, but annoying.

An armored enemy that moves faster then nearly all Cerberus units with shields??
And could dodge? The next thing Bioware will make is to remove the effect overload has on them.

Every time I see them go for a smash, I feel like they're trying to farm us.

Yes, Dragoons are nasty. But let's face it, they're Cerberus to the core. From their point of view, they make the perfect addition to their forces. I think it's wonderful, and Cerberus is still one of the easier factions to play.

They are epitome of class, and I love the addition. The only change Bioware needs is to increase the number of revives for medals.

The original idea was - Cerberus - TACTICAL faction, takes cover, advances slowly and takes time, flushes with nades and flanking.

Reapers the most aggressive faction that zerg rushes you.

Now all factions are the same. Cerberus bum-rushes you with Dragoons, Geth with Hunters, Reapers with Brutes and Banshees and Collectors with Praetorians.

The unique feel of the Cerberus is gone. Dragoons are NOTHING but tactical. Run and melee ALL THE THINGS at whatever cost.

I'd say they should have some sort of cooldown on their «melee» and jumping. It's really frustrating to let one near you and get lost in this neverending cycle of jumps and melee =/

That's an astute observation.  In my opinion, the factions have become more homogenous, but it did not occur to me until you mentioned it.

Cerberus was okay at getting you out of cover. Geth were not. And getting you out of cover in such a moronic way as Dragoons do is cheap.

Plus they redesigned the most camped maps. Why add a dumb ass unit that ignores game rules?

1) Invite all of the Dragoons to the Citadel for Dragoon-con.
2) Give them each a bottle of rice wine as a welcoming gift.
3) Delay all the panels by 1 hour. Encourage them to drink.
4) Buy them all of the steaks.
5) Fat Dragoons.

Fat Dragoons can't zerg like crazy. If they were slower, I'd be happier.

They make soloing devices a total nightmare. They just will not stop coming after repeatedly killing them. This is after i've kited the entire enemy team away from the objective.

Yeah the Dragoons are highly annoying considering they really don't feel like Cerberus units. They're extremely fast, never take cover, have armor only, and make little sound. I can tolerate a character designed for being somewhat more aggressive...but yet, isn't that what Phantoms are for? These guys should be protection from melee-oriented units, while acting like long range soldiers otherwise. The anti-flank soldier for Cerb. At least make them slower and switch them to Health/Shields, and not pure armor. Pure armor implies a drone or a robot.

And Ashen Earth you have like a X on every ultra rare weapons.  For most of us, I think alittle more power cool down and slower movement on the Dragoon would do us good.

I could stomp 4 Dragoons at once, in a solo game with any class using uncommon/rare weapons if I so desired.

What separates me from the average player is that I build my characters in such a way as to deal with every enemy in the game effectively since I'm used to having to do everything myself and not having reliable squadmates. For someone like me, who already used the most versatile weapon/character combinations available the addition of the Dragoon is a non-issue because I could already murder every enemy in the game effortlessly before that. the Dragoon is nothing more than the Cerberus equivalent of a Geth Hunter with less annoying stunlock, no cloaking abilities and armor instead of shields/health.

But for people who haven't mastered basic concepts that they should have learned in Silver like "crowd control" I can see how Dragoons present a serious threat.

Well I wasn't trying offensive or anything.  Maxed out ultra rare players always get the higher score, and I don't think their character build actually matter.  I see them using ammo power I and they still get top score.  But anyway, yeah, most PUGs can't do that.

It's always funny when people imply that the players with complete manifests always score higher than other players because they have level X Ultra Rares, yet they never stop to ask themselves how it is that those players got those shiny level X URs to begin with.

And it's even funnier how they players without them are always the ones obsessing over the scoreboard.

I beg to differ on the people with level X ultra rares always outscoring people without them.

Nice thing about the Dragoons is that they are susceptible to the upgraded overload that cripples weaker organics. I bring them to their knees countless times with my Turian inf. I then pop a power boost and tear through their armor.

You know what I've learned form the new enemies? It seems as if BioWare's trying to make teamwork a necessity. I mean enemies go down like flies when everyone works together. I mean who cares if you can't solo them. That's not the point of being in a squad.

It was a general statement. I've been outscored plenty of times by people without level X URs just as I have outscored players with level X URs before I had them myself
