Dragoons are hilarious if you're a jetpack turian, they are so easy to dodge and so stupid, you can just keep kiting them like a matador with a raging bull if you want to. Could probably do the same with a drell and a shadow too as they dodge pretty far.

they don't fit into cerberus at all. Cerberus is tactical moving with taking cover and anything, but Dragoons just run to you and want to die. even Phantoms take cover if they get shoot, but Dragoons just push harder and when surrounded by 3 of them, there is nearly no way out

Long invincibility frames, head shot resistance, stun/stagger resistance, rediculous DR, stunlock, etc. In other words, everything we told BW that was not fun, that SUCKED, about geth and phantoms. BW needs new game designers.

Holymotherofgod, I start to think I'm a good player actually. Even QFE can deal with them - cryo for slow and debuff, couple of pistol shots on slowed enemy, Incinerate.

There are ways to deal with them. Your team just has to have its eyes open at all times and have at least some crowd control capabilities (falcon, overload, BB, etc.). That said, I do agree that they fit very poorly with the rest of Cerberus, and their "tactical" mindset.

on topic : i don't think they are that bad-unless you're shooting at them with a predator or avenger they die pretty quickly and can be staggered by a lot of things

There are ways to deal with geth too, Reeger Kroguard, GI, etc., then all the balance gurus want to nerf those characters and weapons.  How about some balance for the enemies for a change?

Dragoon has two excellant attacks, instead of one strong and one weak, all the good defenses in abundance and swarm in packs of 3.  Where is the balance in that?  What are the other cerberus units good for when one does it all very well?

Graal tickles them, so does subnet.  Nothing really phases them.

Oh yeah, and Overload makes them bend over and back again - on Human Engie of all the things! Tougher guys like Paladin can just rape them with dryo explosions and shield designed specifically to eat armor.

Submition net doesn't work well against any armored unit and the graal doesn't hit that hard unless it's a HS.Try the GPS it works amazing and  you can one-shot almost everything with it even when using it on caster classes.

"tis true.  They might as well just cancel the assault trooper budget all together, and pour everything into Dragoons.  I think that they will indeed see balance changes on tuesday.  However, I would say that they are different from the geth in that, they are doing exactly what they are meant to do and do not defy physics or in game principles.  Unfortunately, what they were meant to do was poorly calculated.

I guess on the bright side, they don't have shields.

It's pretty sad when a great weapon that requires precise aim is nerfed.  The good weapons against them are the ones that don't require such good aim and have been nerfed or nerfers have wanted nerfed.

Subnet works on armored targets.  The issues is the invinciblity and DR frames the dragoons have.  They are very long and not always very obvious.

Its massive fun to duel 5 of them and 3 phantoms with an Ex-cerb vanguard. Specced for melee.
Yeah, my team just left me there and watched.

I'd say yes the Dragoons are annoying and badly designed. They are surely dumb with all that armor on and just keep charging at everything.
I'll keep it short but at the very least they shouldn't have armor and stasis should work on any humanoids.

 I was in the corner with the ladder near the room with the main entry staircase on Ghost with my Batarian Soldier maiming the poor guys, along with a phantom.  I seriously went through three of them at a time along with the phantom with explosive BB's.  It's soooo much fun just toying with them.

Most annoying anemy in the game right now. They're not difficult, they're cheap and annoying like the geth! Does Bioware want us not to play vs cerb/geth ?

The classes that suffer more from the dragoons imo are the biotics. If 2 or more close on you then u are pretty much doomed as a biotic. You cant stasis them and setting off a BE does not kill them outright.

The best characters to deal with them in the game currently are the stagger free & weapons based characters.

Anyone cares to explain why Dragoons are cheap "like the geth"? For me they are fast strong unit, one of three top of its faction. They can't stunlock you from across the map or while being frozen - "like the geth".

Let me see...

The run superfast (yet are armored!!!) and in packs (like hunters!). Dodge and roll (just like annoying and also armored pyro) Can see through your cloak (Like geth). Stagger you to death (like geth), and are relentless (and hard to stagger). Also they spam powers and execute them faster than players, as well as camp your corpse stomp you in 0.5 sec!

They need to:

a) Make them a bit slower (the animation is funny right now)
B) A bit easier to stagger (biotic character can have a chance to kill them)
c) Give them a longer cooldown on the powers, as right now they can take a whole team down and keep it down with constant power spaming!
d) Have a 1 maybe 2 sec window to the stomping, so players can revive you.

Belive me, I'm no noob at this game, but Dragoons annoy me to no end with their cheapness!!!

Dragoons are perfect as they are (albeit a little fast), as it is I love seeing a whole group together, perfect time to whip out my Scorpion and carpet bomb them to hell (same as with Phantoms except no threat of instakill if I screw it up). I'm happy to let them swarm me, better to carpet bomb them all at once and blow them all to bits.

"The animation is funny" is a weak argument for balance. FYI then primes should move twice faster than now according to animation. Also, if you've played Phoenix characters, you would never take heavy melee for smash, so what cooldowns are you talking about?

Biotic users can do lots of things against them. Move more. Play with team. Use staggering weapon. Use ammo powers to slow and debuff (cryo) or stagger (disruptor). Use your weapon, again. Shoot heads.

They were given armor so people couldn't use stasis or lash on them, and they are quick and always rush to us instead of taking cover because that's the purpose of their existence: making them hard to deal with, preventing people from camping, etc.
