Not every weapon will work for every enemy. That's basic gaming.

Their slash takes something like 3 second to hit you. You have all the time to stop, twirl and get out their way.

I say give them Eviscerator instead so they can't spam long range fire. And we would have another Cerberus weapon utilized. Hornet is already done.

Well. Tried a solo. Everything else I could handle but when Dragoons came at me... Yeah it was like 3 men with whips chasing me yelling RUN LARDASS RUN! LOSE THOSE POUNDS!
Thankfully now that they're the most prevalent Guardians are getting a backseat leaving the Falcon to dominate the infantry scene better.

I dunno... maybe if they gave me a breather every now and then I'd like em a bit more. Also those lashes are supposed to make noise... not just impact noise.

Not all kits have a dodge. And 3 of them hitting + other enemies is funny in a not funny way.

I was playing Cerberus Silver on FB Vancouver and the last 3 waves were the most exciting I've had in a long time.

Yes the Dragoon is troublesome but he's not cheap or complete bs. Make it a priority to at least severely hurt him because he gets close or THEY get close. Cerberus was way too easy before at least now they have an Ace up their sleeve and he is a force to be reckoned with.

It's very intense when you have to roll out of the path of one and end up in the path of another, now you actually have to fight and it's great.

I say give him a golden singularity to go along with this smash...ok...jk on that part...

+1 exactly. You can't even kite them away. And device disable is freaking frustrating.

I think the better question is, why would you limit your options when you could easily enable yourself to deal with all of the enemies in the game?

Now that SMG ULM is fixed, and there is a ULM for pistols there really is no excuse to not carry 2 weapons on every character.

Another enemy that favours midrange fighters and punishes long range or without dodge.

I actually don't think they're that bad. Maybe I just got used to dealing with them faster than some people I dunno. Their attack is not that hard to dodge, they only have one health bar unlike other units that have two. They are fast but that just gets you to pay attention to your surroundings more so that you're ready for them. I like them and think they are fine the way they are.

I would just be happy if BW nerfed their speed. For an amoured character the Dragoons are ridiculously fast and agile.

I've only had problems with they're in pairs or groups of three. Two is kinda ok, but not as problematic for me when I get attacked by three at once. Had it happen on gold. I know a fury has no problem with them.

They're not that bad. I've just had a few games where we've been swarmed by them on several waves and we've taken them out without much problem. I really don't think these guys are that OP if you're a good team.

They are not OP, they are just dumb, super fast and DO NOT FIT in Cerberus. And look stupid with their unfitting running animation. It's like they ****ted their pants and come for you to ask for toilet paper.

Armor is supposed to be heavy and slow. That's why every other armored unit in the game is slow, to justify the survivability boost over plain old health. Dragoons should have health and barriers like our phoenix's.

Or barriers and lower armor. And they should definetely move slower and "pretend" to search for the player. Not run straight at it at FTL speeds.

Dragoons on solo 4x objectives are really super annoying, I have to admit I've not figured out how to deal with that yet. So far my strategy is:

Kite all enemies to opposite end of map.
Sprint back to device.
Wait a few seconds for Dragoons to catch back up and kill all at the same time using AoE (not one at a time, or the first one to die will catch up shortly after you kill the last one).
Press spacebar and pray.

Obviously that only works on bigger maps, and not if the device is in the centre or otherwise too close to a spawn.

Turrets sometimes seem to distract them for a few moments but not long enough to complete a device. Also I think I may have actually seen one take cover when faced with my fearsome QFE's sentry turret!

Yeap. Drone escort and hack are also a freaking pain in the ass. You can't get 5 seconds of hacking with them on your behind all the time. Pizza carry too. Dragoons are just annoying period.

I take out dragoons with my little volus all the time, equiped him with a raider, didn't use ammo or gun mods, just launched a recon mine in front of me, fired twice, got out the way, and detonated.

Rinse, repeat, dead dragoons all the time.

I suggest simply finding a strategy that works, this is like compalining about banshees because you can't just use the same strategy as you do for a brute but have to adapt.

Also, what do you mean by "Deadly at range"?
