Why not just make a separate profile to see the low EMS endings?

I don't want to edit my saves to get low EMS. An option would be perfect!

To me this only becomes more needed as time passes, due to the amount of multiplayer that gets played, and how sometimes you almost don't have a choice but to promote.
Be a really nice option for those of us still playing around in this universe, and those planning on returning for another single player campaign go around one day.

On my game the asset wont appear unless I access Galaxy at War from the in-game menu. If that is the same elsewhere, stay off of it, even when offline.
This isn't working on my game.

doesnt really help console users though. you can sometimes manage to "turn off" the assets by removing the network cable before you start, other times (its really random) you can load a game and the assets wont load until you check the galactic readiness menu, other times it loads itself automatically.
the other day i couldn't even connect to the GAW servers and i ended up playing with a readiness rating of 0.

Yea, it seems quite simple.Egilovich wrote...
Im all for this. I'd like to be able to promote and still get the "worst" ending. A toggle would add to replayability and i dont see it being that hard to implement.
I only know a bit of C# and stuff like that, but imagine there's some kind of funtion that keeps cheking with the EA servers how many of these war assets you have. It would be fairly simple to tell that function to not check with the EA servers, if the option is set to off in the settings in-game.
But what do I know..

I want it to be really difficult to get the good endings.
Except (and i agree with you) its not, even on insanity just do everything..... Its not hard, it just takes longer.
edit: added a comma!
