Actually, it'd be nice to reset the readiness level to 50% too. Like, having the option to turn all online features off.

An interesting idea! Maybe we could disable the "N7 Special Ops Team" war asset AND the readiness level in single player mode. Then only the war assets would depend on the outcome and we have a different 'feel' for the campaign. What do you think, Bioware? ;)

I don't know why BW didn't consider this from the beginning. Not to imply they are now.. Wish they would though

The silence is VERY frustrating! A honest "We will never add such kind of option!" would make the situation clearly. But I hope enough people respond here and Bioware changes his plans regarding this kind of option!

Yes, this + ability to reset galactic readiness. I want my dumb Shep to doom Earth.

I know one way to diable the N7 special ops, don't open the mail in your single player mail box marked N7 special ops! The team is added after you read the mail. Like many other assets.

Thank you for this interesting information! This proves that an option wouldn't be SO hard to create.

I think I remember seeing the N7 war assets right after going to Mars. But I'll see if this works later today.

How about an option to use those assets to add the intel terminal to add more skills for the SP mode. To get them, you have to "spend" the N7 assets and it would gradually reduced from the EMS rating. Add an on/off on the N7 assets is good idea to make achieving all the endings both good, the bad and the ugly side of it.

Sorry dude, I just tested it out in a new playthrough, and I'm afraid you're wrong.

After completing Sur Kesh I looked at my war assets, and the Ny Spec Ops team had been added to the list. When I opened my mail on my private terminal, I had received the N7 Special Ops Team email. So, the Spec Ops assets were added BEFORE I even got the email.

At least it was worth a try :(

If you're on PC, you can disconnect from the internet and it will remove your N7 special ops War Assets. By disconnect I mean remove the wire (if you're using wired internet) or remove wireless connection from your computer before opening Origin.

Yeah, I've always thought it was strange that the game didn't come with a Enable/Disable option for that...

Thank you for testing. Sorry to hear that this isn't working (every time)! So my characters will never ever be promoted again? :(

I'm honest Bioware: The silence is frustrating and disappoint me. All the love for multiplayer and the singleplayer part fall more and more into oblivion. What a shame!!! :-(

I am unbelievably for this. It is the reason why I am not promoting anyone in multiplayer. For a single-player story lover like me, it completely destroys the narrative when you immediately have 3000/4000 in war assets meaning you have no need to try and scramble to collect all the troops necessary when you are good to go even before you reach Palavens moon.

SO true! :( There are players who have reached the war asset limit and could win the war with the promoted characters only! :D

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I've found that not playing multiplayer in the time period while playing through an SP game stops the MP assets from showing up for the final mission. It means missing out on weekend challenges, but it's better than being stuck with the assets on.

Thank you for the information, I will try this in the future.

What I DON'T like: Still no answer or other reaction from Bioware! SO frustrating!!! :(

Did this work?

This is an issue I still care about, a bump seemed appropriate.

I didn't think the N7 from multiplayer added significantly to your war assets. :/

I find the war assets from mp are pointless you can get enough of them in sp with out the need to play the mp module.
