- because I originally did it with ME2 (got the trophy and platinum too). It was quite hard but I loved the challenge.
- then I did it with ME1 on the 360 (49/49) This was also quite hard and different to how ME2 played.
- then I did it with ME3 (got the trophy and platinum too).
note: ME3 Insanity wasn't as hard as ME2 and ME1 aside from dying from grenades being flung at you from all directions, it was quite straightforward really.
I would like to have a harder difficulty for ME3 though as discussed here.

Because the game on anything lesser than Insanity is boring for me. i always like a minimum challenge to games.
I like to lose once in a while , and not just spam buttons and win. Which Me3 did poorly, the most difficult section was the rediculous cheap earth final scene with banshees and Maruder shields.
