Commander Shepard, Asari Commando, and join her in her adventures 600 years after the events of ME3.


We get (a) Commander Shepard (child of).


We get it far enough into the future so that the events of ME3 don't have to completely dictate the games story.


We get a non-human to play with.


Add in Wrex's offspring as well and we have the beginning of a squad.

yeah... I know... hence the 'most people'... but it is a viable way to give us a link without it needing to much retconing

What about Shepards history? Like the trait we get to choose when we create our Shep? War hero or ruthless and such? I could imagine playing the beginnings of Commander Shepard.

Not an alien, or half alien Shepard kid.

Just Shepard.

true... gotta admit to not being a one LI guy here... tend to stay faithful each playthrough and definitely have favorite LI arcs... but dont pick the same one for each run through...


but i do see what you mean... how quickly would we have the comment 'I dont want to play the space-rape offspring' from non-Liara fans.

I fully respect you view... in fact it is REALLY my preferred option... but if its not on the cards, then some link would be nice imho...

pretty sure it's just gonna be human for the next game, for ME4 i don't really know Hudson has made it clear he had no plans a while ago to go for a game set after ME3, but yeah most likely gonna be human, multi-race choice seem very unlikely, just seems like to much time and work to make it work.

As much as I liked Shepard, his story is finished.

I'd like to see something similar to what DA:Origins. You choose one of the council races, Asari, Salarian or Turian.

Son of Shepard or Daughter of Shepard who is old enough would ask their steparents who their real Parents were, they would give either one a lift to Alliance military to find out who has been with their parents since Reaper War ended like, ten years ago and so forth, etc etc

If it comes down to either i would prefer a side-qual or interequal rather than a prequal, we already know how prequals will end and however exciting it might be, the contact war, Rachni war, Krogan Rebellions, etc. not too much fun IMO, an Inbetweequal you can do something interesting I guess, but yeah if ME4 gets created still prefer Shep.
