This just started.
If I attack a target; they all attack the same, so I switched to another target, they all stopped attacking the other target and started attacking the same one as me.
I have not messed with tatics; I do not use them. And I do not have all party selected; I liked it when they would attack different targets. This just started happening.
Why are my party members attacking the same target as me?

But I have not set tatics; their all set to default.
Leliana is especially having an issue; which ever target I go to she has to come and fight it to, Alistair is attacking another target; but Leliana is attacking whatever I'm attacking and its annoying; I'm also not getting XP.

Either disable tactics in the tactics screen or set up each party member to attack say Alistair's target. And even if you don't get the killing blow, there's not much to worry, because every party member gets xp for a kill, precisely only 2 less than the one dealing the finishing blow.

This is just a guess, but there are two buttons right below your characters portrait on the top left of your screen. The right button when clicked will show a hand and all companions stay where they are. Check the left button beside it. If it shows a diamond, then they all share the same target you do. If you click it, they will start attacking normally again.
Or it could be something else entirely.

Personally, I find that focus-fire works wonders anyway.

I don't know what you're doing, but you're doing it right. Every other player who plays DA:O tactically (in the original sense of the word, I don't mean game tactics) is having the exact opposite problem - as Riverdaleswhiteflash said, focus-fire does wonders in DA:O and getting your party members to mindlessly attack the same target is supposed to be tricky part, especially for console players. No XP gained is a bummer though. I have never heard of this problem before, you might want to check everyone's tactics in any case and see if something changed it for you.

Focus fire is not allways good when dealing with lower level horbes. Specialy if you use skills that burn up mana/stanima. I do alot of micro mang of my party cause I want to take down there party as fast as I can. Normaly my main char and Lelianna (my archer most times) go after mages and than the leader. Normal Sten is going after the leader and Alister I use for crowd control. FIlling in diffrent chars for diffrent roles depending on who is in the party. Since I"m not running on easy I get area affect and friendly fire damage easly if I don't take down there mages fast....stupid point blank fire balls don't work so easly any more lol. I'm going back and bumping up all my new playthrough up in difficulty right now....been interesting. Next wave of play throughs will be on night mare. Though play with tatics, some of the skills aren't so usefull until later. LIke Lelianna I changed her range archery one cause it keep setting fast aim, which I didn't need and doesn't allow crits damage when shoting....so I replaced it with AIM to take slower shots that do more damage.
