How come they're jacking up the price on this DLC?!?

Bigger file? More content then the last one? I mean Leviathan was the best selling DLC to date.

I'll leave the rest to the conspiracy theorist

Yea well right now Omega seems like the biggest let down to date.

-15 dollars. Same price as ME1 on PS3...

-No confirmation of Omega being a main hub.

-Probably no Collectors or Harbinger

-No new squadmates.

How could you complain about something that isn't officialy revealed and confirmed. Some people....

And yes 15 dollars/euro's is expensive and yes you could buy ME 1 but that is how the market works.

If those two details were in the DLC then they would be the main talking points at their convention.

What, do you think they're keeping Collectors as a surprise or something?

ME1 is kinda old. Worth the whole 5euros i spend, no question.

Setting the price over that of the average DLC is a bold move. The implications ...

Its better be goodB)

15$ ? well, I think I should wait for review this time...

no need to rush for it, Hitman / AC3 / BO2, too many in the list for me next month.

Yea not a great comparison on my part.

But still ME DLC has never been that expensive. All I'm saying is that for them to get an extra 5 bucks out of me it better move mountains.

Was his autograph as badly written as the end of the game?

Actually the idea of getting an autograph from Mac Walters is a pretty good joke in and of itself.

Agree. And it better not be just 'more combat'. We can already have our combat fix for FREE in MP. SP needs to step it up and offer more of something & substantial. Hubs, sidequests, vehicle, ME2 squadmates, more romance. At least one of that for $15 price point.

Everybody should wait for a review or watch it and see if you want it. There is no point in just buying it because it is Mass effect 3 content. I would just wait for the details and see what happens. Be a smart consumer and do your research.

It better reflect content. My major fear with increased prices is that we may be paying for MP asset creation. "Double-billing", so to speak.

For instance, lets say this DLC has collector enemies, and a patch releases female turians as MP characters. These assets should be supported by the MP microtransactions, not singleplayer ones.

I'm not saying that assets for MP shouldn't be used in singleplayer or visa versa. But the cost of those models shouldn't reflect the price of the DLC, since they can already recoup the costs of making them through other means.

Back in my day, we paid about $16 to $20 for CDs and we mostly just wanted one or two tracks and now people complain about buying video games for that price? Before everyone panics, we should let the dev team do their official announcement and see what is really going on.

Yeah.

And comparing new DLC to 2-5 year old games sold by a company going out of business is like saying, "you'll be paying what for a 2013 Cadillac?  I just got a Saturn and a Pontiac from Al's Auto for the same price".

You can buy The Witcher 2 in Poland for 10$. Paying 15$ for DLC to ME3 is a joke.

ME3 is a better game than TW2, so that is not true.

How exactly have people gone from"man Omega could be awesome! It better be a lot of content!I want information!"
To: "OH No. nNo onnonpnonno! I Hate bioware they make me pay for a massive Content update!?.
I hate that its not what i wanted!"

Despite any information being released, actually being minimal?

Whether it's better or not is up to personal taste. Imo Witcher 2 has better graphics, better more mature story, better choice/consequence system. Mass Effect has better characters and more fluid gameplay.

So shut the hell up. Both games are good but FFS Witcher 2 is worth a lot-f**cking more than a single ME3 DLC.

What the?... As if we didn't get enough Cerberus in ME3. Why does Bioware think we like fighting Cerberus so much?
