Everybody should wait for a review or watch it and see if you want it. There is no point in just buying it because it is Mass effect 3 content. I would just wait for the details and see what happens. Be a smart consumer and do your research.

Its up to the individual to decide even when most "reviewers" especially on youtube are normal raging "fans".  To be fair its better to enjoy what you get instead of freaking out over the little things.

LilLino wrote...

Whether it's better or not is up to personal taste. Imo Witcher 2 has better graphics, better more mature story, better choice/consequence system. Mass Effect has better characters and more fluid gameplay.

So shut the hell up. Both games are good but FFS Witcher 2 is worth a lot-f**cking more than a single ME3 DLC.

To be fair if its up to personal taste then you shouldn't try to turn opinion into fact.  Either way what game is better is up to the individual while its easy to say the Witcher 2 is better when most haven't played the Witcher and some have rage for ME3.  Btw this arguement is bad based on a comparison between DLC and a full game is an apples and oranges reaction.

Please explain why files on the disc are required?

Zaeed, Kasumi, and Javik are on disc but there missions are absent.

Lakeshow1986 wrote...

People who are complaining about it being $15 need to realise that they arent being forced to pay for this. Just dont buy it.

Personally Im glad its not another 560msp job that is done within an hour. At least if it costs more you get a bigger and hopefully better story.

This is very true and DLC is always optional.

known_hero wrote...

I just hope $15 equals 6 hours of gameplay.

To be fair most DLCs don't do that unless you're talking about Undead Nightmare.

Also, DXHR's The Missing Link DLC was released at 1200 MSP. IIRC it took me just below four hours to complete my first time around.

Just sayin'.

I wouldn't hold your breath on that, or your face will turn bluer than the typical Mass Effect fan's balls.

In Twitter thread, someone mention a possible scenario: we're getting Aria and Female Turian as temp-squadmates because... actual ME3 squadmates will be absent from the DLC :/

Just one question.

Is Oleg Petrovsky in it?

Yes!

*happy dance*

Don't get your hopes up, there is a high probability he will be portrayed as twirled moustached evil or indoctrinated. Other than that, it would make Cerberus too *complex* for us

How i wish i was wrong....:pinched:

Yeah when you have gaming sites labelling him 'evil general petrovsky' it fills me with the deep foreboding this is going to be a linear be Aria's goon affair and Petrovsky will  to a moustache twirling villain. Really hope i'm wrong but until i hear a review or see evidence that it won't be,  my money stays well away.

Makes sense to me, that way they don't have to spend money rounding up the actual ME3 squadmates' voice talent.

Can't believe they will give players zero choice over their squad personally.

Yeah.  What loser wants to be able to have additional conversations with the squadmates s/he's emotionally connected to?  <_<

Choices matter ... unless it costs too much or changes their story.

Yup, it's the reason it's a totally possible scenario to me. But we'll have to wait, at this point it's just pure speculation

You can't believe?  Really?  Well, I'm sure that Chris Priestly and Casey Hudson would be happy to let you stick your fingers in their stigmata if you ask politely.

At least they're keeping with the theme of slowly degrading emotional attachments and introducing new characters in linear scenarios.

Ah, I'll stop from being too hyperbolic just yet. We'll wait and we'll see.

Depends what type of DLC you're talking about.
Multiplayer DLC usually has great worth, which is partly due to why it sells well.

Singleplayer games, not so much you need to go to Bethesda and similar companies if you want that.
