So I was playing Dragon Age and i started wondering are all the darkspawn the same level though out the game like genlocks during early in the game are the same levels as genlocks in the deep roads? I know there are different levels for dark spawn according to rank but do the darkspawn/ other hostile characters get stronger as you get stronger or do they remain the same level

or does it depend on the location?
