It's a strange angle and the lighting doesn't help. Anyway, it's not a big deal either way, it's not like she has asari-sized melons.

And just reminding people (again) that if turians give live birth then it's not a huge stretch to assume they are mammals.

Yeah that mammal thing isn't convincing, they are aliens, not birds and not mammals, besides you can choose to make a cool alien whatever way you want but choose to stick boobs on them, it's still lame as all hell... but the worst thing is Garrus's mama didn't have boobs, does EAware need more inconsistancy >_>

But wtv, we'll see and it's not like it can ruin ME much more to me

It would be a great mage robe for Skyrim.

Actually iirc there's a mod that looks uncannily similar.

AAAANNND they gave her boobs.

It's somewhat nitpicky, but seriously? Turians are as far from mammals as you can get, so they just don't have them. Same with Salarians and Krogan, and BioWare had no problem keeping them realistic (despite never seeing much more than Bakara's eyes).

It's annoying, actually. For the same reason, I was really annoyed by Argonian females in Skyrim. They're reptiles, for Pete's sake! As a general rule, scaly things don't have mammaries.

I truly appreciate that BioWare finally decided to put in the effort of rendering Turian females (better late than never), but I just wish she wasn't sexualized. Good grief.

Boobs. On a Turian.

For reference, here's what a Turian's mouth looks like;

There is now confirmation that the female turian, Nyreen Krandros, will NOT be a LI option. There is no sure-fire romance in the game. Nyreen is a difinitive no, prefering members of her own species. (or she could already have someone. All that's known is that she is not romancible) Though depending on how you play, you can get alot of flirting between Aria and Shepard, but will get no further then that. NO romance scenes. This is confirmed by BioWare.

Also, it seems that according to BioWare, this will be similar to the Arrival DLC in that you will NOT have access to ANY of the other squad members in the game. You will be playing through the ENTIRE DLC with Nyreen, along with Aria T'Lok as a temporary squad-mate. So sadly, we will not see how Garrus responds to Nyreen, as it seems they will not be meeting.

Nyreen and Aria are both biotics, with Nyreen, leader of a merc group called "the Talons," being the first turian biotic seen in the single player campain since Saren from ME1.

In unrelated news, It is also confirmed that the Cerberus Dragoon from multiplayer will be made a regular enemy thanks to this DLC, along with the Rampart Mech, a heavily upgraded LOKI mech that totes Tech Armor, the Evisicrator shotgun, and a pair of Chainsaw-like Omni-Blades, and the (assumeedly) telaporting, squid-faced Adjucant husk from Mass Effect: Invasion will appear as well.

There is also a conflict of interests between Nyreen and Aria, as Nyreen (Paragon) will want to let the Military use Omega as a staging base against the Reapers, and Aria (Renegade) will most likely want to use Omega for her own ends against Cerberus.

Also, Omega will not become a "Hub location" like the Citadel after the game is completed.
You will have a central location from which the four main missions thus far can be accesses, along with several side missions. You will revisit "many old locations" from the previous game though, like Afterlife.
Also, on a strange note, it seems that this mission is avalible after Garrus' mission. It's assumed that this refers to when you recrut him.

Also, the formally Pre-order exclusive weapon, the N7 Valkyrie, and Kingdoms of Arma-lur Exclusive weapon, the Chakram Launcher, will be made fully unlockable weapons in the Omgea DLC.

Finally, the DLC is clocked at over two hours length for the main story, and five if you go the completionist route.
P.S. later today, there should be some gameplay footage of "Omgea" released.

Having watched the gamespot preview footage, I would agree with leonia that it's probably just the light playing tricks. If you look at her when she turns to the side while talking to Aria, it doesn't look as though she has boobs.

I hate to bring this up, but on the other thread got no responses.

Do I see boobs on Nyreen or does it look that way only because of the lighting?

Those better not be breasts on a avian/reptilian species. And before anyone says "but it's an ALIEN" sorry, some things just don't make sense. Picture a codex entry that said the following

Krogans have secret lil bird wings under their armour
Salarians actually have hairy bodies
Batarians have exoskeletons

Just because something is alien doesn't mean sticking any ol attribute on them makes sense. ****** on turians DO NOT MAKE SENSE.

You um, have fun trying to apply modern day science to a fictional game series with fictional aliens that don't follow human or earth biology.

Here's some lightened screenshots for your consideration. One of them:

Even if you want to argue that those curves might not be actual literal mammaries, it seems very much like they're intended to be read that way visually. Slapping breasts, or even "breasts" on the new design is a lazy and unnecessary way to communicate 'female', especially when there's every other reason ("funny bumps" canon, comparative anatomy of similar species) to believe that turians wouldn't have them. It's just... not necessary. <_<

So far from the official materials - the trailer, the official DLC site - I've only ever seen Nyreen in the hooded outfit. The armored concept seems to be limited to those two unconfirmed screenshots. I wonder if she will ever show up in armor, or if that was an early concept? I think armor would be a more sensible choice for running around Omega.

It looks like BW wanted it both ways, the design of the robe suggests boobs but if it turned into another Ashley's armour ****storm they can claim that's all it is and of course a female turian doesn't have boobs. They've been influenced by asari fashion or some bs.

The salarians use fabrics and such to cover their concave chests... maybe turian females stuff their bra?
